摘要： A method for reducing a skin effect in a downhole environment is provided, including the step of radiating vibrational waves at a wellbore wall such that the vibrational waves have at least one direction of greatest vibrational energy transfer directed toward the wall, thereby reducing the skin effect. An apparatus for reducing a skin effect in a downhole environment is also provided. The apparatus includes at least one vibrational wave source having at least one direction of greatest vibrational energy transfer, and a means for positioning the vibrational wave source proximate a wellbore wall.

摘要： The invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation penetrated by a wellbore, the method comprising the steps of: (a) mixing a particulate and an active material to obtain an at least partially coated particulate, wherein: (i) water forms a contact angle of less than 90 degrees with a surface of the particulate, (ii) the active material is capable of forming a coating on the particulate, (iii) the active material forms a contact angle less than 90 degrees with the particulate, and (iv) water forms a contact angle of greater than 90 degrees with a layer of the active material; (b) mixing the at least partially coated particulate and a carrier fluid to obtain a treatment fluid; and (c) introducing the treatment fluid into the subterranean formation through the wellbore to deposit the at least partially coated particulate into the subterranean formation.

Also included are pricing considerations. A composition for a treating fluid includes a treating fluid residual recovered from a well, preferably conditioned as described. Examples of such fluids include fracturing fluids and gravel pack fluids.

A sleeve is disposed in each jetting module except the lowermost module, and each sleeve is moveable from a first position covering the jetting nozzles in the corresponding module to a second position covering the jetting nozzles in an adjacent module. Plugs may be pumped into the tool to move each sleeve sequentially, thereby operating the jetting modules sequentially.

More particularly, the invention involves placing time-release treatment chemicals in a flow channel that communicates with the sand control device. The treatment chemicals take the form of time-release capsules or are coated on a surface of the sand control device and may include scale inhibitors, paraffin inhibitors, asphaltene inhibitors, enzymes and the like. The treatment chemicals prevent and clear the formation and buildup of particulates on a surface of the sand control apparatus.
