    • An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a riving knife assembly for a dual bevel table saw, comprising: a first armature configured for coupling with a beveling member; a second armature adjustably and rotatably coupled with the first armature; a first mounting member coupled with the second armature; a first riving bracket coupled with the second armature and configured for adjustably coupling with a bearing retaining nut of a dual arbor assembly; a second riving bracket coupled with the first mounting member and configured for adjustably coupling with the inside of a first bore of a first height bracket; a quick release handle disposed upon the first mounting member; an eccentric shaft coupled with the quick release handle; a locking pin having a locking pin body, a second mounting member, a head member coupled with a sheathing member, and a spring loaded assembly, the locking pin operationally coupled with the eccentric shaft; and, a riving knife configured with an engagement assembly for engaging with the locking pin; wherein the spring loaded assembly enables the head member and a circular engagement member disposed on the locking pin body proximal to the head member of the locking pin to be set in a locked position and a release position relative to the second mounting member, the sheathing member and the riving knife; wherein the locked and release positions are established by manipulation of the quick release handle.

    • An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a riving knife assembly for a dual bevel table saw, comprising: a first armature configured for coupling with a beveling member; a second armature adjustably and rotatably coupled with the first armature; a first mounting member coupled with the second armature; a first riving bracket coupled with the second armature and configured for adjustably coupling with a bearing retaining nut of a dual arbor assembly; a second riving bracket coupled with the first mounting member and configured for adjustably coupling with the inside of a first bore of a first height bracket; a quick release handle disposed upon the first mounting member; an eccentric shaft coupled with the quick release handle; a locking pin having a locking pin body, a second mounting member, a head member coupled with a sheathing member, and a spring loaded assembly, the locking pin operationally coupled with the eccentric shaft; and, a riving knife configured with an engagement assembly for engaging with the locking pin; wherein the spring loaded assembly enables the head member and a circular engagement member disposed on the locking pin body proximal to the head member of the locking pin to be set in a locked position and a release position relative to the second mounting member, the sheathing member and the riving knife; wherein the locked and release positions are established by manipulation of the quick release handle.

    • A cutterhead for use with a power tool includes a generally cylindrical body with a knife recess extending generally parallel to an axis of the body. The knife recess has a wall at an acute angle to a tangent of the outer surface. Received in the knife recess are a knife and a bar that includes an angled side configured to sandwich the knife between the angled wall of the recess and the angled side of the bar. A pin extends from the bar and is received in an aperture of the knife to align the knife relative to the bar. A threaded height adjustment screw is received in a threaded bore in the bar to adjust a height of the knife with respect to the body. A securing screw is received in a threaded opening in the body to secure the bar and the knife to the body.

    • The present invention is directed to a cutterhead including a cylindrical main body portion including a recess for at least partially receiving a knife. A primary shaft extends from an end of the main body portion. Preferably, the primary shaft includes a keyway or flat portion to mechanically connect the shaft to a power tool's drive system. A secondary shaft extends from the opposing end of the main body portion for supporting the cutterhead minimizing vibration and the like. A knife assembly is included in the cutterhead for permitting secure positioning of the knife. A lock bar is included to sandwich the knife between a sidewall of the knife recess and the lock bar. An index pin is disposed so as to engage the knife and lock bar. So as to generally fix the knife to the lock bar. In additional embodiments, the knife's position along a primary axis of the main body portion may be varied to extend the knife's cutting life. A height adjustment screw extends through a threaded aperture in the lock bar to allow for height adjustment of the lock bar/knife from above the lock bar. A securing screw extends through the cylindrical outer surface of the main body portion so as to secure the lock bar/knife against a sidewall of the knife recess included in the main body portion.

The at least one optical emitting device housing is configured so that the optical emitting device may cantilever above the workpiece surface area and project a line-of-cut indicator onto the workpiece surface area.
