摘要： A water based fiber treatment agent and fiber treatment method impart to treated fibers a perfect smoothness, lubricity, reduced tackiness, and pleasant tactile sensations. The water based fiber treatment agent contains a silicone oil emulsion of crosslinked silicone particles with an average diameter of 0.01 to 100 &mgr;m which are in silicone oil drops having an average diameter of 0.05 to 500 &mgr;m, and then the silicone oil drops are dispersed in water. The diameter of the crosslinked silicone particles is smaller than the diameter of the silicone oil drops.

摘要： A water-based treatment agent for tissue paper suppresses any feeling of slipperiness or wetness in ordinary tissue paper and toilet paper so the paper has a dry touch, ample smoothness, and a clean, smooth, tactile impression. It also provides the paper with a superior softness. The water-based treatment agent consists of a silicone oil emulsion in which crosslinked silicone particles with a mean particle size of 0.01-100 &mgr;m are contained in silicone oil droplets with a mean particle size of 0.05-500 &mgr;m, which are dispersed in water. The particle size of the crosslinked silicone particles is smaller than the particle size of the silicone oil droplets.

摘要： An organic silicon compound emulsion for quickly imparting excellent water-repellent properties to the surfaces of porous inorganic base materials such as concrete, mortar, and masonry. The emulsion is prepared by the steps of emulsifying a mixture consisting of (A) an organoalkoxysilane, (B) an organopolysiloxane having in its molecule at least 2 alkoxy groups or hydroxyl groups bonded to a silicon atom, (C) an anionic emulsifying agent, and (D) water, and heat aging the emulsion at a temperature below 100° C. In another embodiment, the method comprises the steps emulsifying a mixture of the components (A) to (D) and adding an acidic or alkaline substance to the emulsion. In a third embodiment, the method comprises the steps of forming a mixture consisting of the components (A) to (D), adding an acidic or alkaline substance thereto, and performing the emulsification thereafter.

摘要： The invention concerns a microemulsion having a mean particle size of 0.15 microns or less comprising: (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least one epoxy containing group per molecule, wherein said epoxy containing group is selected from the group consisting of: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are divalent hydrocarbon groups, and wherein said organopolysiloxane also has carboxyl containing groups present in the amount of 0.5 to 15 moles of caboxyl containing groups per mole of silicon atoms in said organopolysiloxane, wherein said carboxyl containing groups are expressed by the formula: --R.sup.3 --COOR.sup.4 where R.sup.3 is a divalent hydrocarbon group, and R.sup.4 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen atoms, monovalent hydrocarbon groups and silyl groups expressed by the formula --SiR.sup.5.sub.3, where R.sup.5 indicates the same or different monovalent hydrocarbon groups; (B) a nonionic surfactant; and (C) water. The present invention also comprises a fiber treatment agent whose principal ingredient is the abovementioned microemulsion.
