    • Provided is an oil-in-water silicone emulsion composition that has a low silicone oligomer content, and that can form, even without the use of an organotin compound as a curing catalyst, a cured film that exhibits satisfactory strength and satisfactory adherence to a substrate, through the removal of water fraction. An oil-in-water silicone emulsion composition comprising (A) 100 mass parts of a polyorganosiloxane that contains in each molecule at least two groups selected from the group consisting of a silicon-bonded hydroxyl group, alkoxy group, and alkoxyalkoxy group, (B) 0.1 to 200 mass parts of a colloidal silica, (C) 0.1 to 100 mass parts of an aminoxy group-containing organosilicon compound that has in each molecule an average of two silicon-bonded aminoxy groups, (D) 1 to 100 mass parts of an ionic emulsifying agent, (E) 0.1 to 50 mass parts of a non-ionic emulsifying agent, and (F) 10 to 500 mass parts of water.

    • A computer readable storage medium has a logic synthesis code embodied therein. The logic synthesis code includes a standard design function for causing a computer to generate standard circuit information about target circuitry on which a logic synthesis function is to be performed, based on specifications of the target circuitry written in a hardware description language, the standard circuit information logically matching the specifications; a timing design function for causing the computer to generate modified circuit information by modifying the standard circuit information so that the standard circuit information satisfies both an ideal clock signal condition defining an ideal clock signal to be applied to one or more sequential circuits included in target circuitry, and at least either of a first ideal assertion period condition defining an ideal period of time during which each of one or more tristate buffers included in the target circuitry is asserted and a second ideal assertion period condition defining an ideal period of time during which each of one or more other sequential circuits for latching an output of a tristate buffer, which are included in the target circuitry is asserted; and an output function for outputting the modified circuit information from the timing design function.

    • A novel polyethynylacetylene derivative represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R is H, (C1-7) alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, naphthyl, carbazole, (C2-7) vinyl-alkyl --CX.sub.1 X.sub.2 (OH) or --SiX.sub.1 X.sub.2 X.sub.3 in which X.sub.1, X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 are H, (C1-7) alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, with the proviso that the case where all of X.sub.1, X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 are H is excluded and x is a number of 20 to 500. The polyethynylacetylene derivative is prepared by polymerizing a monomer of the formula HC.tbd.C--C.tbd.CR wherein R is as defined above, with the proviso that the case where R is H is excluded, in the presence of a metathesis catalyst or a Ziegler catalyst. A polyethynylacetylene derivative of the above formula (wherein R=H) is prepared by reacting a polyethynylacetylene derivative of the above formula wherein R=Si(C.sub.n H.sub.2n+1).sub.3 with a desilylating agent. The polyethynylacetylene derivative is soluble in organic solvents and can be shaped into various articles. This polymer is used as a high-sensitivity pattern-forming material and is promising as a precursor for polyacene polymers.
