摘要： A flame retardant resin composition which includes 100 weight parts of a rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin, 2.about.35 weight parts of an epoxy-oligomer of tetrabromobisphenol-A (A1), 2.about.35 weight parts of bis-(tribromophenoxy)ethane (A2), 1.about.15 weight parts of antimony trioxide (B), and 0.1.about.10 weight parts of chlorinated polyethylene (C), wherein the total of the above (A1), (A2), (B) and (C) are 8.about.50 weight parts and the weight ratio of (A1)/(A2) is 10/90.about.75/25. The composition of the present invention has well-balanced flame retardance and impact resistance.

摘要： A rubber latex with its particles grown through cohesion by adding 100 weight parts of (B) a rubber latex (solid), 0.1-15 weight parts (solid) of (A) an acid group-containing latex having an average particle size of 50-500 nm prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising (a), (b), (c) and (d) [wherein (a)+(b)+(c)+(d)=100 weight %]: (a) 5-25 weight % of at least one of unsaturated acids selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, itaconic acid and crotonic acid, (b) 20-95 weight % of at least one of alkyl methacrylates with its alkyl group 1-12 in carbon number, (c) 0-30 weight % of at least one of alkyl acrylates with its alkyl group 1-12 in carbon number, (d) 0-40 weight % of at least one selected from the group consisting of aromatic vinyls, compounds having at least two polymerizable functional groups in a molecule and vinyl cyanides, copolymerizable with the aforementioned (a), (b) and (c) is provided. The rubber latex and a graft copolymer containing it and thermoplastic resins incorporating said graft copolymer are excellent in impact strength, heat resistance and workability.

摘要： A modified nonflammable molding resin composition. The composition is a blend of (A) a nonflammable resin composition composed of 30 to 80% by weight of a styrene resin having a methyl ethyl keton-soluble portion having a reduced viscosity of 0.2 to 0.5 dl/g and 70 to 20% by weight of a vinyl chloride resin having a polymerization degree of 400 to 800; and 0.5 to 15 parts, based on 100 parts by weight of the nonflammable resin composition (A), of (B) a copolymer of a vinyl cyanide, an alkyl methacrylate, an aromatic vinyl compound and another copolymerizable vinyl monomer in specified ratios and having a reduced viscosity of not less than 1.8 dl/g. The composition has improved heat stability in injection molding and excellent heat resistance.

The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 25 to 90 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylic ester copolymer (X), which is prepared by polymerizing 40 to 95% by weight of a (meth)acrylic ester, 0 to 40% by weight of a vinyl cyanide compound, not more than 60% by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound and 0 to 40% by weight of a monomer copolymerizable therewith, and has a glass transition temperature of not more than 20° C. and a gel content of not more than 50% by weight, 5 to 75 parts by weight of a copolymer (Y), which has a glass transition temperature or a melting point not less than 50° C., and 0 to 70 parts by weight of a graft copolymer (Z), which is prepared by polymerizing 5 to 95% by weight of a rubber polymer (A) and 5 to 95% by weight of a vinyl monomer (B), and wherein hardness thereof at 20° C. measured by the method of JIS K6301 is 30 to 100.

The flame-retardant injection-molding resin composition provides injection-molded articles of high impact strength and low delamination tendency and has excellent thermal stability, flame resistance and heat stability.

A styrene resin composition comprising the rubber-containing resin composition and a styrene resin provides molded articles having excellent properties such as impact resistance, mechanical property, heat resistance and surface appearance with good processability.
