摘要： The present invention aims to provide a contrast agent-removal system and a method of operating the system for efficiently removing the contrast agent which is cause of the renal function impairment. The system of the present invention includes a blood suction catheter which can be placed into the coronary sinus, a column for removing a contrast agent from the drawn blood, a blood drawing circuit for directing the blood into the column, a blood pump for controlling an amount of the drawn blood, a blood return circuit for returning the blood from which the contrast agent is removed to a patient's body and a device for measuring a blood suction pressure. In the method of operating the system, the blood is drawn with the blood suction catheter placed into the coronary sinus and the drawing blood is contacted with an adsorbent for adsorbing the contrast agent.

摘要： Provided is an aspiration catheter which does not require a large-scale device, has a largest possible aspiration lumen, and is sufficiently flexible to track tortuous blood vessels following a guidewire, thereby being easily advanced to a target site to be treated.In the aspiration catheter, the tip of the main shaft is obliquely cut, the distal end of the guidewire shaft is positioned at the distal end of the main shaft or protrudes from the distal end of the main shaft in the distal direction, and the relationships 0.5≦L2/L1 and L2−L1≦5 mm are satisfied, wherein L1 is the length of the obliquely cut portion of the main shaft in the longitudinal direction of the catheter, and L2 is the length from the proximal end of the guidewire shaft to the distal end of the main shaft.

摘要： The present invention provides a peptide which selectively adsorbs an anti-β1 adrenoreceptor antibody being one of the contributing factors in dilated cardiomyopathy. The peptide of the invention can be immobilized on a carrier in a short period of time with rarely inducing side reactions, and adsorbent for adsorbing an anti-β1 adrenoreceptor antibody can be produced with good efficiency by using the peptide. In addition, the present invention provides an adsorbent comprising such peptide immobilized on a carrier, an adsorber wherein such adsorbent is used, and a method for adsorbing an anti-β1 adrenoreceptor antibody. The adsorbent and adsorber according to the invention can efficiently deprive an anti-β1 adrenoreceptor antibody-containing liquid, in particular body fluid, of the antibody.
