    • A system and a method for efficient service-instance oriented energy management in the IoT are provided. The method comprises: a predicting step for predicting target service instances to be serviced in a subsequent time period based on a service instance stance transition model; a selecting step for selecting an ON-sensor set to be turned on to provide services on which said target service instances are based, according to a critical covering set corresponding to the target service instances, the use history data of sensors in the critical covering set and energy parameters of said sensors; a controlling step for performing, when said time period begins, an ON/OFF control on the sensors in the IoT so that the sensors in the ON-sensor set are turned on and the sensors other than those in the ON-sensor set are turned off; and an updating step for updating the use history data of sensors according to the usage of sensors in said time period.

    • This invention relates to the Internet of Things (IOT), and discloses a method and apparatus of data filtering in the IOT, where the IOT includes a plurality of sensor devices. The method includes: inputting an application deployed rule; converting the rule into at least one sub-predicate expression having static predicates and dynamic predicates; inputting data collected by the sensor devices; matching the collected data with the static predicates and the dynamic predicates of the sub-predicate expression in sequence; and distributing matched data to the application. In this invention, a rule is divided into static and dynamic predicates, and a match is performed on static predicates before dynamic predicates, so that the speed of predicate match can be improved and fast and efficient data filtering in the IOT can be achieved.

    • The present invention desires to provide a method and apparatus for assisting query, a method and device for querying, and a naming query system. Specifically, the method of assisting query may, for example, comprise: acquiring a record that includes a unique identification and at least one piece of dimension information associated with the unique identification, wherein each piece of dimension information includes a sequence of attributes, each attribute being ordered in the sequence in accordance with a hierarchically progressive relation; calculating a hash value for an attribute pair comprising attributes of every two neighboring levels; and storing, in association with the hash value, the unique identification in at least one storage device. The method of querying comprises: receiving a query; calculating one or more hash values; in response to the one or more hash values matching stored have values in at least one storage device, deriving an intersection of unique identifications that are stored in association with the matched stored hash values; and returning at least one unique identification included in the intersection as a query result.
