    • The present invention is a photographic element which includes a support, at least one silver-halide emulsion layer superposed on the support and a processing-solution-permeable overcoat overlying the silver-halide emulsion layer that becomes water-resistant in the final product, without requiring lamination or fusing. The presence, in the coating composition, of a compound comprising a blocked copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide has been found to improve wet durability, prevent the retention of iron, and improve the conversion of the overcoat to a water-resistant layer during processing. The present invention is also directed to a method of making a photographic print involving developing the photographic element.

    • An ink jet printing method having the steps of: A) providing an ink jet printer that is responsive to digital data signals; B) loading the printer with an ink jet recording element having a support having thereon a fusible, porous, image-receiving layer containing at least two types of hydrophobic polymer particles having different glass transition temperatures, the first type of hydrophobic polymer particles having a Tg higher than about 60° C. that is substantially monodisperse and the second type of hydrophobic polymer particles having a Tg lower than about 25° C.; C) loading the printer with an ink jet ink; and D) printing on the image-receiving layer using the ink jet ink in response to the digital data signals.

    • The present invention is an imaged photographic element which includes a support, at least one light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer superposed on the support, and an overcoat layer overlying the light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. The protective overcoat includes a first water insoluble polymer having a Tg less than 25.degree. C. and a second water insoluble polymer having a Tg greater than 25.degree. C.     • A holder for a multiplicity of paper clips is arranged in an aligned stack disclosed herein having an elongated, hollow housing closed at a dispensing end with a stop defining a partial opening for passing the uppermost clip of the stack. The housing dispensing end includes an outwardly projecting bill or lip adapted to present the uppermost clip in a preparatory position for manual removal from the housing. A spring biasing mechanism is incorporated into the housing closing the end thereof opposite to its clip dispensing end which includes a guide rod projecting through aligned openings in the stack of clips and a slidable foot carrying the clip stack. An expansion spring is disposed on the rod between the foot and a base which is snap-locked with the housing to close the housing storage cavity.
