    • A cable connector assembly includes a housing including a main portion and a mating portion extending forwardly from the main portion, a number of contacts received in the housing and including first contacts and second contacts; a number of first wires connecting with the first contacts; and a number of second wires connecting with the second contacts. Each first contact includes a first contacting section and a first termination section exposed beyond the housing. Each second contact includes a second contacting section and a second termination section exposed beyond the housing. The first termination section electrically connects with corresponding first wire via Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC). The second termination section electrically connects with corresponding second wire via soldering.

    • A cable connector assembly has a first connector, a second connector and a ribbon cable connecting the first and the second connectors. The first connector includes a first insulating housing, a number of first contacts and a first shielding covering the first insulating housing. Each first contact includes a first contacting portion, a first retaining portion and a first connection portion. The first shielding has a first grounding section. The second connector includes a second insulating housing, a number of second contacts and a second shielding. Each second contact includes a second contacting portion, a second retaining portion and a second connection portion. The second shielding has a second ground section. The ribbon cable includes a number of wires, each wire having one end electrically connecting with the first connection portions and the first grounding section and having the other end electrically connecting the second connection portions and the second ground section.

    • An electrical connector includes an insulative housing extending in a front-to-back direction and including a rear base portion and a front tongue portion, and first and second sets of contacts held in the insulative housing. The first set of contacts includes at least one pair of differential contacts for transmitting high-speed signals. Each first contact includes a nonelastic first mating portion occupying a front section of the tongue portion. Each of the second set of contacts includes an elastic second mating portion located behind the nonelastic first mating portion along the front-to-back direction. The first and second sets of contacts are assembled to the insulative housing along opposite directions. The first and second body portions are provided with interference sections thereon to interferentially engage with the insulative housing. The first mating portion of each first contact is provided with interference sections to engage with the tongue portion of the insulative housing.

    • A mounting apparatus for mounting a data storage device defining mounting apertures, includes a bracket for accommodating the data storage device, a locking member, and a mounting member mounted to the locking member. The bracket includes a side plate having a first bulge strip and a second bulge strip. The first bulge strip defines an insertion hole, and the second bulge strip defines a locking hole opposite to the insertion hole. A number of through holes is defined in the side plate. One end of the locking member forms an insertion portion to be inserted in the insertion hole, and the other end of the locking member forms a locking portion to be engaged in the locking hole. The mounting member forms a number of mounting pins to extend through the through holes of the bracket and engage in the mounting apertures of the data storage device.
