    • A cooling fan includes a fan housing (10) having a central tube (11) extending upwardly therefrom, a bearing (20) received in the central tube, a stator (40) mounted around the central tube, a rotor (30) having a shaft (37) extending into the bearing, and a magnetic ring (38) being fixedly mounted to the rotor to rotate with the rotor during operation of the cooling fan. The bearing is made of iron-copper alloy. The magnetic ring is made of hard magnetic material and exerts a magnetic attraction on the bearing, whereby the rotor is pulled downwardly by a magnetic attraction of the bearing on the magnetic ring to lessen the floating problem of the rotor during operation of the cooling fan.

    • A cooling fan includes a fan housing (10) having a shaft seat (16) extending downwardly therefrom, a stator (20) being fixedly mounted around the shaft seat, a shaft (80) with a top end being fixedly connected to the shaft seat and a free end (82) extending downwardly therefrom, a rotor (30) comprising a hub (32) having a plurality of blades (34) extending radially and outwardly, and a sleeve bearing (40). A fixing tube (36) extends upwardly from a center of the hub. The fixing tube has a closed bottom end and defines a fixing hole (360) therein. The sleeve bearing is fixedly received in the fixing hole of the fixing tube to rotate with the rotor. A bearing hole is defined in the sleeve bearing for extension of the free end of the shaft therethrough.

A bearing (61) is received in the central tube and mounted on the protrusion. A stator (20) is mounted around the central tube. A rotor (10) includes a shaft (18) having a free end (186) extending through the bearing and defining a notch (184) therein. A locking washer (63) engages into the notch of the shaft to limit movement of the shaft along an axial direction thereof. A balance structure (62) is arranged between the locking washer and the bearing. The balance structure is made of magnet and exerts a downwardly pulling force on the shaft to prevent the rotor from moving upwardly when the rotor is rotated.

    • A fan motor includes a frame (10) and a motor (30). The frame includes a supporting plate (13) and a central tube (16). A pair of arms (181) extends upwardly from the supporting plate and spaces from each other to form a gap (184) therebetween. Each arm has a barb (182) at a top end thereof. The motor includes a circuit board (31) and a stator (33). The stator defines an axial hole (338) for receiving the central tube therein. The circuit board defines a fixing hole (312) therein corresponding to the pair of arms. The pair of arms extend through the fixing hole with the barbs of the pair of arms abutting on the circuit board. A pin (191) is inserted into the gap between the pair of the arms.

    • A heat dissipating fan includes a housing (201), a stator (21), a rotor (27) and a buffer structure. The housing defines an accommodating space (202) and includes a hollow tube (201b). The tube encloses first and second bearings (22, 23) therein. The stator is arranged in the accommodating space and around the tube. The rotor has a shaft rotatably disposed in the first and the second bearings. The buffer structure includes at least a pair of magnets (25, 26) received in the tube and located between the first and second bearings. Repellent force is generated between the magnets, thereby preventing at least one of the first and the second bearing from being damaged by an accidental force acting thereon.

    • A fan frame includes a housing (10), a supporting base (20) and a plurality of ribs (30) connecting the housing with the supporting base. One of the ribs includes a bottom wall (33), and first and second lateral walls (31, 32) extending from two opposite sides of the bottom wall, respectively. A receiving groove (35) is defined between the bottom wall and the lateral walls. A securing tab (40) extends from an outer end of the first lateral wall towards the second lateral wall. A securing finger (42) extends aslant from a free end of the tab towards the second lateral wall.
