    • It is an object of the present invention to provide a power transmission belt which is superior in dynamic adhesion and heat-resistant adhesion against repeated flexing of a power transmission belt or running under heating conditions around an engine, and is also superior in heat resistance, abrasion resistance and an abnormal noise-preventing property.The present invention pertains to a power transmission belt in which an adhesive rubber layer in which core wires are embedded along the longitudinal direction of the belt is bonded by vulcanization to a compressed rubber layer laminated on the inner surface of the above-mentioned adhesive rubber layer, wherein the above-mentioned adhesive rubber layer and the above-mentioned compressed rubber layer are formed by using ethylene-α-olefin-diene rubber compound, and the diene content in ethylene-α-olefin-diene rubber of the above-mentioned adhesive rubber layer is equal to or larger than the diene content in ethylene-α-olefin-diene rubber of the above-mentioned compressed rubber layer, and the diene content in ethylene-α-olefin-diene rubber of the above-mentioned adhesive rubber layer is 3.5 to 10% by mass and the diene content in ethylene-α-olefin-diene rubber of the above-mentioned compressed rubber layer is 0 to 6% by mass.

    • An automobile door checker includes a case secured to a door, a check plate that runs movably through the case and has its base end pivotably supported on a body, a detent member fitted into and retained by the case and working in cooperation with a detent face of the check plate and a resilient member that is formed from a resilient material and is provided in a compressed state in a housing chamber defined between an outer end face of the detent member and an inner end face of the case, wherein the resilient member substantially and tightly fills the housing chamber, thus preventing rainwater from infiltrating into the housing chamber. In this way, it is possible to prevent infiltration of rainwater into a housing chamber of a case housing a resilient member by a simple structure.

    • A rear-wheel steering apparatus includes a steering unit for steering the front wheels in association with a rotation of the steering wheel, and a hydraulic actuator for steering the rear wheels. The actuator has first and second hydraulic chambers and a drive member connected to the rear wheels and operating in accordance with an oil pressure supplied to the hydraulic chambers. A directional control valve is provided between the steering unit and the actuator. The valve supplies oil pressure to the actuator in association with the operation of the steering unit. The valve includes a casing, and a valve body slidably arranged in the casing. First and second pressure chambers filled with oil pressure are defined in the casing. When the steering angle of the front wheels is smaller than a predetermined angle, the valve body moves to an in-phase position for supplying oil pressure to the actuator so that the rear wheels are steered in the same direction as the front wheels. When the steering angle is larger than the predetermined angle, the valve body moves to an antiphase position for supplying oil pressure to the actuator so that the rear wheels are steered in the direction opposite to the steering direction of the front wheels.
