摘要： The present invention provides a mono-component developer comprising toner particles containing a binding resin, a colorant and an additive and a method of forming images by use thereof. In the present invention said additive is preferably a titanium compound prepared by through the reaction between TiO(OH).sub.2 and a silane compound or through the reaction between TiO(OH).sub.2 and a silicone oil. The specific gravity of the said titanium compound is in the range of 2.8 to 3.6. The average particle diameter thereof is in the range of 10 to 70 nm. The said toner particle is preferably a non-magnetic particle. By making use of the mono-component developer and the method for forming an image using it, charging of the toner, and carriage of the toner can be stabilized over a long period of time, and stable image formation can be obtained.

摘要： A one-component developer comprising an external additive, and toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the external additive contains a titanium compound obtained by the reaction of TiO(OH).sub.2 and a silane compound, and an image forming method using the one-component developer are disclosed. The one-component developer and the image forming method provide excellent flow and a narrow charge distribution, can reduce fluctuation of the charge property due to the environmental change, and can thus form a high-quality image without fogging and the damage to a latent image retainer by filming can be prevented.

摘要： A negatively electrifiable, non-magnetic and single component developer comprising a binder resin, a carbon black and a charge control agent, wherein the carbon black has an average primary particle diameter of 20 to 50 nm and a pH of 2 to 5, and the charge control agent comprises a compound represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein M represents a metal atom selected from the group consisting of zinc, iron, nickel and cobalt, and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. An image forming process using the developer is also disclosed. This one-component developer, which is suitable for use as a black toner in color image formation, can be stably charged and transported over long to give images free from fogging and having evenness of density and hardly poses problems such as dirts and color mixing over long.

The electrophotographic image forming method can provide a good image quality without causing scattering of toner in downsizing, weight reduction of an electrophotographic apparatus and speed-up of an electrophotographic process.

摘要： The toner for developing an electrostatic charge image comprises a colorant, a binding resin and a resin copolymer of aliphatic hydrocarbon and aromatic hydrocarbon having 9 or more of carbon atoms. Preferably, the toner further comprises a wax. The endothermic peak of the wax at DSC is preferably from 70 to 100.degree. C. The petroleum resin copolymer preferably has a ring and ball softening point of from 80 to 170.degree. C., and the binding resin is preferably a polyester resin. The weight ratio of the aromatic hydrocarbon monomer and the aliphatic hydrocarbon monomer of the petroleum resin copolymer is preferably from 99:1 to 50:50.

摘要： An image formation method which remarkably extends developer life while providing size reduction and high speed coloring. Also, a replenishing toner and a method of producing the same, and a toner cartridge. In the image formation method, conducting image formation by an image formation apparatus having a plurality of xerography units, the developer apparatus of at least one xerography unit has a developer recovering mechanism appropriately replenishing a replenishing toner composed of a toner and a carrier into the developer apparatus and recovering an excess portion of a developer from the equipment. The above-mentioned replenishing toner has a carrier content in the range of 5 to 40% by weight, the above-mentioned carrier is a carrier coated with a resin having a specific composition, and/or the above-mentioned toner is in a specific shape. The replenishing toner may be produced using the above-mentioned recovered developer.
