摘要： An electrostatic latent image developing dry toner and the like are provided, in which toner remaining after transfer can be recovered during developing with or without having a blade cleaning stage for promoting friction of an electrostatic latent image holding member. The electrostatic latent image developing toner contains toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant and monodisperse resin particles having a volume mean diameter of 80 to 300 nm, a gel ratio of 60% or more by weight, and a standard deviation of D50×0.20 or less. A method of producing the above toner first mixes monodisperse resin particles, which have a volume mean diameter of 80 to 300 nm, a gel ratio of 60% or more by weight, and a standard deviation of D50×0.20 or less, with toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, and adds an inorganic compound having a diameter smaller than that of the resin particles with a shear lower than the first mixing.

摘要： A developer for a trickle developing method is used in formation of a full color image and is made of a mixture of a toner and a carrier. The toner contains inorganic fine particles as an internal additive and an external additive, a volume average particle diameter D50v of the toner is between 5.0 and 9.0 &mgr;m, a true specific gravity of the carrier is between 3.00 and 4.60, a volume average particle diameter of the carrier is between 15 and 60 &mgr;m, and the ratio of the volume average particle diameter of the carrier to the volume average particle diameter of the toner is between 3.00 and 7.00, and an image forming method using the developer. The developer for the trickle developing method prevents the embedding of the external additive in the toner by suppressing impact energy given by stirring the carrier and the toner in a developing device and a replenishment device of the developer, and has a resistance to toner degradation, an excellent transferability, a resistance to carrier contamination and a stable chargeability.

In the full color electrophotographic toner, the full color electrophotographic developer and the image forming method of the invention, a retransfer phenomenon of the transferred toner can be prevented, a chargeability and a transferability are not problematic at all, a charging amount of the toner in long-term use can be rendered appropriate and stable, and a fluidity is also excellent.
