摘要： Facsimile apparatus stores, in a memory, a telephone number for connecting to a server of an Internet facsimile transmission service company. The facsimile apparatus transmits facsimile signals via the Internet, a registration number of a user of the service company, a facsimile number of the destination, and a protocol for connecting to the service company. Connection to a server of the service company is established by pressing a button and further processing for connection with the Internet is executed. The server of the service company converts the image information of the facsimile signals as received from the facsimile apparatus into image data of its own format appropriate for Internet transfer, selects a second server which is located close to the destination based on the destination facsimile number, and transfers the data via the Internet. The second server reconverts the image data into a format conforming to the destination facsimile, connects to the destination facsimile, and transmits the data.

The method of joining sheet members includes: bonding an end of a new sheet member to a surface of a preceding sheet member through an adhesive material to form a joined part; and cutting the preceding sheet member at a position rearward of the joined part to join the preceding sheet member with a new sheet member, wherein the preceding sheet member is secured to the new sheet at a position rearward of the joined part. In addition, in the method of joining sheet members, the securing is carried out by welding using laser beam.

The biasing member applies a bias force for driving the switch actuating member against the direction for generating the detection signal. The drive member is positioned facing the switch actuating member when the functional component is in its normal position so that the drive member provides a force to move the switch against the biasing force to generate a detection signal.

摘要： A voice recognizing method apparatus in which an input voice is recognized by obtaining a similar pattern by comparing the input voice and voice standard patterns. Voice standard patterns are stored into a memory. A voice is inputted. Voice duration lengths and distances are calculated by performing matching processes between the input voice and the standard patterns. The distance is corrected in accordance with the voice duration length so that the voice duration length having the best matching result is used as a reference, or such that the distance is small as the voice duration length is long. A recognition result is determined in accordance with the corrected distance. The matching is executed by a word spotting method. The input voice to be matched and the voice standard patterns are expressed by voice characteristic parameters.

The moderation of the lid movement is accomplished by the damping oil functioning to slow the rotation of the roller.

Water dripped from a water feeder to the inside of a cooking chamber is converted into steam by a heater in the cooking chamber.
