    • The present invention provides a unidirectional condenser microphone unit that can suppress the occurrence of howling. In a unidirectional condenser microphone unit, a diaphragm 20 extended across a support ring 21 and a backplate 30 supported by an insulation cylinder 50 are arranged opposite each other via a spacer ring 40. A backside air chamber 31 is provided between the backplate 30 and the insulation cylinder 50. When the density of air is defined as ρ, sound velocity is defined as c, the effective vibration area of the diaphragm 20 is defined as S, and the volume of the backside air chamber 31 is defined as V, a stiffness s1 of the backside air chamber expressed by (ρ×c2×S2)/V is increased on the basis of the volume V of the backside air chamber to shift a resonance frequency of a unidirectional component contained in unidirectivity up to a frequency near a high-frequency reproduction limit.

    • A condenser microphone comprising: a mic capsule in which a capacitor is composed of a diaphragm and a counter electrode, and which effects electroacoustic conversion; a FET for impedance-converting audio signals output from the mic capsule; and a CR circuit composed of a resistor and a capacitor, and connected to the FET to adjust a signal level in a low frequency range, and in the condenser microphone, an output terminal may be drawn out from a drain of the FET; and the CR circuit may be connected in between a source of the FET and the ground, furthermore, in the condenser microphone, there may be provided a changeover switch for switching a mode in which the CR circuit is connected in between the source of the FET and the ground into another mode in which the CR circuit is short-circuited to connect the source of the FET to the ground.

    • The subject invention provides a surface-placed a surface sound capturing microphone with a rotatable cable connecting member to allow the output cable extracted position to be simply changed. A surface-placed sound capturing microphone of the subject invention includes a connecting member 2 which connects one end of an output cable 3 for transferring an audio signal captured by a microphone capsule to a predetermined external instrument. The connecting member 2 is mounted in the microphone case 11 and is rotatable around a horizontal rotating shaft in parallel to the placed surface. The output cable of the microphone can be positioned at a horizontal extracted position where the cable is horizontally extracted in parallel to the placed surface and at a vertical extracted position where the cable is vertically extracted relating to the placed surface.
