摘要： The present invention provides an image processing apparatus which comprises connection means for connecting to a computer, input means for inputting image data from the computer via the connection means, and output means for visibly outputting the image data input by the input means, comprises generation means for generating a code, notification means for notifying the code generated by the generation means, to the computer from which the image data is input by the input means, and storage means for storing the image data input by the input means, wherein the output means visibly outputs the image data input by the input means, in a case where a code corresponding to the code generated by the generation means is input, whereby a secret of the output image can effectively be protected.

摘要： Image data scanned by way of a scanner controller is transferred from a memory controller to a memory by way of a G bus. A CPU reduces the image data stored in the memory by thinning processing or the like, and displays the image data on an operation panel by way of a B bus and interface. In this manner, an image can be input using the first bus while data transferred by way of the first bus is output by way of the second bus. This enables processing using image data which is being input, such as processing of immediately displaying an input image.

摘要： An image processing system comprising a combination of an image control unit and one or a plurality of image input/output units, wherein the image control unit and image input/output unit are connected by communication means. In a case where the image control unit has a first communication controller and the image input/output unit has a second communication controller, predetermined communication conditions are set in the first and second communication controllers at initialization, a fixed packet length is decided based upon mutually communicable packet lengths of packets exchanged via the communication means, the decided fixed packet length is set in the first and second communication controllers anew, and subsequent communication is continued by DMA transfer in which a data string is divided into the set fixed packet lengths. As a result, high-speed data communication is achieved between units even in a low-cost single-chip microcontroller.
