    • To provide a resin material in which various properties such as excellent appearance and rigidity inherent to a polyacetal resin are maintained and to which the antistatic property is given. That is, a branched polyacetal resin composition, comprising 100 parts by weight of a branched polyacetal copolymer (A) having an oxymethylene group as the main repeating unit and having a branching unit represented by the following formula (I), and 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of a compound (B) having a polyalkylene ether unit as the main constituting component and/or 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of an ester (C) of fatty acid with polyhydroxyl alcohol having a hydroxyl group: wherein m and n each is an integer of 0 to 5; the sum of m+n is 1 to 5; and R is a monovalent organic group having a molecular weight of 40 to 1000.

That is, a branched polyacetal resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a branched polyacetal copolymer (A) having an oxymethylene group as the main repeating unit and having a branching unit represented by the following formula (I), 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a weather (light) resistant stabilizer (B) and 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a hindered amine substance (C): wherein m and n each is an integer of 0 to 5; the sum of m+n is 1 to 5; and R is a monovalent organic group having a molecular weight of 40 to 1000.

    • A polyacetal resin composition having high rigidity and also excellent in dimensional stability and creep characteristics is provided. A polyacetal resin composition prepared by blending (A) 99.9 to 90 parts by weight of a linear polyacetal resin having a melt index of 1 to 50 g/min obtained by copolymerizing (a) 99.5 to 97.5% by weight of trioxane and (b) 0.5 to 2.5% by weight of a compound selected from a mono-functional cyclic ether compound and a mono-functional cyclic formal compound, with (B) from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a branched or crosslinked polyacetal resin having a melt index of 0.1 to 10 g/min obtained by copolymerizing (a) 99.49 to 95.0% by weight of trioxane, (b) 0.5 to 4.0% by weight of a compound selected from a mono-functional cyclic ether compound and mono-functional cyclic formal compound and (c) 0.01 to 1.0% by weight of a poly-functional glycidyl ether compound with the number of functional groups of 3 to 4, in which (A) and (B) are selected so that the ratio between the melt index of (A) and the melt index of (B) can satisfy the relation of the following formula: 0.02≦MIB/MIA≦1.5   (1) (where MIA is a melt index of (A) and MIB is a melt index of (B))

    • Polyacetal compositions are made by melt-blending a polyacetal base resin A, a filler material B, and a thermoplastic acrylic resin C in weight ratios which satisfy the following formulas (1) and (2):(B+C)/(A+B+C)=0.03 to 0.06 (1)C/(B+C)=0.05 to 0.95 (2).The thermoplastic acrylic resin C is most preferably selected from homopolymers of methyl methacrylate or copolymers which are mainly comprised of units derived from methyl methacrylate. The melt-blending of the polyacetal base resin A with the thermoplastic acrylic resin C is accomplished in the presence of a filler material B having a surface tension which is greater than that of the thermoplastic acrylic resin C at the melt-blending temperature. In this manner, a continuous phase of the thermoplastic acrylic resin is formed in a matrix of the polyacetal base resin such that the filler material is encapsulated in the continuous acrylic resin phase.
