    • A camera uses a film with a magnetic memory portion and includes a magnetic head for writing or reading information to or from the magnetic memory portion of the film, a moving-away device for moving the magnetic head away from a position where the magnetic head acts, and a driving source for driving the moving-away device. The magnetic head and the moving-away device are arranged on the side of a back lid of the camera, with respect to a film transporting path, and the driving source is arranged on the side of a photographic lens, with respect to the film transporting path. Alternatively, the camera includes a magnetic head for writing or reading information to or from the magnetic memory portion of the film, a following device for making the magnetic head follow a wave-like motion of the film while the film is being transported, and a moving-away device for moving the magnetic head as a unit with the following device away from a position where the magnetic head acts.

    • An echo generating apparatus includes an echo effect generator for producing reverberative echo effect by delaying an input audio signal; a band limit filter for limiting the frequency band of the output signal of the echo effect generator; a first calculator for delivering an output signal by calculating the input audio signal and the output signal of the band limit filter; and a frequency characteristic compensator for emphasizing the signal of the frequency band attenuated by the band limit filters. The echo effect generator consists of a second calculator for calculating the input audio signal and the output signal of the band limit filter, an analog delay means for delaying the output signal of the second calculator, and a clock generator for generating an operation clock signal for the analog delay means. A long reverberative echo time is maintained without the necessity of increasing the number of signal delay stages or enlarging the scale thereof. The apparatus is free from spurious radiation or deterioration of the S/N in the data signal. And the number of required component elements is minimized to curtail the production cost.

    • A close-up photography device includes an intermediate device of extensible and retractable type adapted to be mounted on a camera body, and a lens barrel for close-up photography adapted to be mounted on the intermediate device and arranged to be able to vary at least a focal length for variable-magnification photography.
