摘要： A sheet feeding device including a sheet separating mechanism consisting of a feeding member and a braking separating member for preventing feeding of a plurality of sheets, and a speed adjusting mechanism for varying as desired the sheet feeding speed. The spacing between the feeding member and the braking separating member is determined based on a predetermined sheet feeding speed, and the sheet conveying force exerted by the feeding member is set at a level higher than the sheet arresting force exerted by the braking separating member. A supporting member for journalling at least one of the feeding member and the braking separating member and being movable for movement of one member toward the other member, and a transmission for moving the supporting member in synchronism with the movement of an adjusting member of the speed adjusting mechanism are provided, to vary the spacing between the feeding member and the braking separating member in accordance with a change in the sheet feeding speed.

摘要： An image processing apparatus including a photoconductive element, an optical unit and a fixing device such as a copier or a facsimile apparatus. A mechanism for driving a fixing roller and a pressing roller which constitute the fixing device is supported by members which are isolated from those members which support the optical unit and photoconductive element. Hence, oscillation developed by the driving mechanism which is associated with the fixing device is prevented from being transmitted to the photoconductive element and optical unit.

摘要： A copying machine which takes copies of a draft sheet by slit exposure while it is being conveyed. This copying machine includes a draft correction apparatus. This draft correction apparatus is provided with holding bars attached to a copying machine body so as to turn round the center line of a convey way for the draft, a pair of curved guide plates leaving therebetween a distance sufficient for forming a curved convey way constituting a part of said convey way, at least a pair of solenoids which are attached to the copying machine body on both sides of the draft convey way for turning said holding bars, draft sensors which are provided corresponding to said solenoids on both sides of the center line of the draft convey way this side of the solenoids, and a control means which inputs detection signals from the draft sensors and outputs working signals corresponding thereto against solenoids.
