摘要： A method, apparatus and system for Ethernet Ring Protection (ERP) are disclosed. The method includes: detecting, by a node, a link fault on a ring; blocking, by the node, a port connected with the faulty link after detecting the link fault, and sending a fault alarm message to other nodes on the ring, wherein the fault alarm message contains a fault identifier; and judging, by a node which receives the fault alarm message, whether the fault identifier changes; if the fault identifier changes, the node which receives the fault alarm message storing the fault identifier contained in the fault alarm message and clearing a forwarding table of the node which receives the fault alarm message.
