    • A manufacturing process of a diesel gas oil with a high cetane number and a low sulfur, where the cetane number thereof is at least 45, the sulfur content thereof is less than 350 ppm, and the storage stability is superior, from a petroleum distillate oil with a low cetane number and a high sulfur content is provided. The process includes a first stage of contacting hydrogen with a petroleum distillate oil with a particular low cetane number, a particular high sulfur content, and a particular boiling point, in the presence of a catalyst of a porous solid acid carrier carrying a particular hydrogenation-active metals at a particular temperature and pressure to obtain a hydrogenated oil with a cetane number of at least 45 and a sulfur content of less than 350 ppm; and a second stage of contacting the obtained hydrogenated oil with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst of a porous carrier carrying a hydrogenation-active metal at a particular temperature and pressure to obtain a hydrogenated oil with a superior storage stability without changing the cetane number and the sulfur content.

    • A magazine includes a nail guide surface and a movable guide wall. The nail guide surface is linear and continuous to a nail introducing opening and has a shoulder for supporting the nail heads of a connected nail assembly. The movable guide wall is confronted with the nail guide surface. In the magazine, a plurality of connected nail assemblies are loaded and placed in side-by-side relation, while being in contact with each other, between the nail guide surface and the movable guide wall. The plurality of connected nail assemblies are pressed against the guide surface of the magazine by pressing members provided on the movable guide wall. The movable guide wall is turned, for opening and closing, between a position being confronted with the nail guide surface of the magazine and a position at which the nail guide surface is opened.

    • The operation mode of a nailing machine can be automatically and reliably switched, for its selection, from the successive nailing mode and the one-shot nailing mode and vice versa by changing the order of operating a trigger lever and a contact arm. In the selected mode, the nailing work can be performed. By releasing both the trigger lever and the contact arm, the machine is returned to its initial mode. When the contact arm is moved to the top dead center after the trigger lever is operated, a portion of a slide die comes in contact with the underside of the trigger lever. When the trigger lever is operated after the contact arm is moved to the top dead center, the portion of the slide die comes in contact with the upper side of the trigger lever, thereby preventing a further movement of the contact arm to the bottom dead center.
