摘要： In one aspect, the present invention provides a dermatological device that comprises a optical mask that is adapted to receive a radiation beam, e.g., from an external radiation source via an optical fiber, and to transform the beam into a plurality of beamlets. A zoom lens system is optically coupled to the optical mask so as to receive the beamlets, wherein zoom lens system is capable of focusing the beamlets into a plurality of separate skin portions. The zoom lens system can provide adjustable magnification while substantially preserving the locations of the focused spots within the skin. By way of example, the zoom lens system can be a parfocal inverting optical system.

摘要： An example antimicrobial treatment system includes an illumination system configured to deliver illumination that activates a photosensitizing agent applied to a cornea. The system also includes a controller configured to control the illumination system. The controller detects an ulcerative region on a cornea and causes the illumination system to deliver the illumination to activate the photosensitizing agent applied to the ulcerative region according to a set of parameters for treating the ulcerative region. The illumination is restricted to the ulcerative region, and activation of the photosensitizing agent in the ulcerative region generates an antimicrobial effect.

An Internet address used at a first operating location, which is assigned to a first computer unit, can be automatically stored in a central address memory such that the Internet address can be made available by an access taking place from a second computer unit to the address memory at a second operating location assigned to this second computer unit. This permits a facilitated address input by the operating devices of the second operating location.
