    • A plate divider-system (10) comprises a first advancing device (20) for moving plate-shaped workpieces (18), said advancing device comprising a first support (26) and a variety of first gripping mechanisms (24) and of a second advancing device (28), which comprises a second support (30) and at least a second gripping mechanism (32). In addition, the plate divider-system features a feed area (28) that extends transversally to the advancing device (22), in which feed area the workpieces (18) to be moved can be arranged, and which manifests a first working width (40) diagonally to the advancing device (22), in which the first gripping mechanisms (24) are arranged, and a second working width (42), in which the second gripping mechanism (32) is arranged. The second support (30) is arranged laterally outside the feed area (38) and is movable in the direction of feed (22). It is proposed, that the working widths (40, 42) will not overlap, the second gripping mechanism (32) being arranged laterally on the second support (30), and in that way being constantly inside the second working width (42), that it be possible to move the second gripping mechanism (32), relative to the second support (30), back and forth from a lowered advancing position to a raised rest position, and that the height of the clearance underneath the second gripping mechanism (32), in the raised rest position of said gripping mechanism, corresponds at least to the maximum height of a stack of workpieces (18) that can be gripped by the first gripping mechanism (24).

    • A system for quantitative determination of the local distribution of a quantity to be measured, comprising a planar sensor film, which is applied to a measuring surface, such as the surface of a body organ, a skin area or a cell culture, and whose diffusion properties regarding a parameter to be determined are known. The sensor film contains a luminescent indicator responding to the parameter to be determined with a change of at least one optical property. The system further comprises an excitation and detection unit including means for supplying excitation radiation of at least one wavelength, an imaging detection means, preferably a CCD camera, and an evaluation unit processing the image information obtained from the excitation and detection unit. Further provided is an applicator tube to be placed on the measuring surface, whose rim facing the measuring surface is in elastic contact with the sensor film and is impervious to external radiation interfering with the detection means. At the other end facing away from the measuring surface, which may be covered with a cap, a coupling means is provided for attachment of the excitation and detection unit.
