摘要： The present invention relates to a safety workbench, in which, for the purpose of calibrating the safety workbench before beginning regular operation, a device control unit is implemented to cause measurement means to ascertain an actual measured value, which is representative of a flow velocity achieved at normal fan performance, an analysis unit is implemented to compare the actual measured value to a starting setpoint value and, in case of an established deviation, to correct a stored starting limiting value in accordance with the deviation, or means for controlling the fan are implemented to operate the fan at a fan performance corresponding to a stored starting limiting value, a device control unit is implemented to cause the measurement means to ascertain an actual limiting measured value which is representative of the flow velocity achieved at the set fan performance, and a storage unit is implemented to store the actual limiting measured value as the corrected limiting value. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a corresponding calibration method.

摘要： For humidifying a work space in a gas-fed incubator, water in a heatable pan in the floor area of an inner container surrounding the work space is evaporated with temperature-controlled heating of the interior until a predetermined temperature is reached, whereby a dynamic equilibrium state between condensation and evaporation in the inner container is achieved as long as there are no disturbances. If a door for access to the inner container is opened, the open time until it is closed is detected and a period, during which the pan containing water is heated, is determined depending on the open time of the inner container. Here, the period features only a heating phase with a running time if the open time is within a predetermined time interval. The period further includes a secondary heating phase with a second running time if the open time exceeds the time interval. A gas-fed incubator operating according to the method has a work space in the inner container that can be closed by means of a door with temperature control of the interior, wherein in a floor area of the inner container there is a humidifier with at least one controllable heating element for an atmosphere of the inner container in the form of a pan holding a water bath. The door for closing the inner container has a door switch that is electrically connected to an input of a control unit for operation of the humidifier.

摘要： The invention concerns a climatic cabinet with specimen storage places and a transporting device and a monitoring device for specimen slides. The invention also concerns a device and a method for the monitoring of a climatic cabinet. The monitoring device is designed, with respect to its form and outside dimensions, so that it can be transported by the transporting system and can be laid on one of the specimen storage places and can be removed from a specimen storage place.That has the advantage that the monitoring device can be moved to any place with the already present transporting device, wherein not only individual specimen slides but also specimen slide cassettes can be taken to their storage places and monitored, as well as stationary and movable storage devices in a position at rest and in operation, such as cassette carrier carousels, and parts of the transporting device itself. Another advantage is to be found in the fact that the filling of the climatic cabinet can take place by means of specimen slide cassettes, instead of an individual filling, and subsequently, a simple identification of the introduced specimen slides can take place.A preferred further refinement of the invention consists in a specimen storage place for the storage of the monitoring device being affixed to the outside of the climatic cabinet, which increases the service life and functioning reliability, since the monitoring device is not constantly exposed to the climate in the climatic cabinet, and furthermore, facilitates maintenance.
