The house retains an pre-established commission. When a player stops playing his machine, he can cash out his accrued credits for an amount determined by the value of the common pari-mutuel pool. The present invention also provides for pari-mutuel pools to be distributed to all coin columns in a predetermined manner so as to allow all participants (not only the ones who play maximum coins) to be able to win a predetermined mathematical proportional share of the pari-mutuel jackpot pool (progressive payouts). The invention also provides for seeding of the jackpot pools by the gaming establishment and for funding of future pools by setting aside into future pools portions of wagers made by current players.

In one embodiment, the defenders receive consideration to defend against the challengers. Based on established criteria, a challenger may qualify to advance to a tier within the ladder. A plurality of multi-tiered ladders may be provided, and play between ranked players from different ladders facilitated. The system may include software and hardware to implement the method steps.

摘要： A bingo game and method in which bingo rules are used to simulate video poker and slot machine games. Players using linked terminals are assigned flashboards having multiple squares thereon, which squares have indicia thereon. If video poker is to be simulated, the indicia will be suit and value indicia of the type associated with playing cards. If slot machine play is to be simulated, the indicia will be of the like associated with slot machines, such as cherries, bars and bells. The calling of numbered bingo balls leads to the display to the player of corresponding indicia from numbered squares on the flashboard. A multiple overlapping ball draw may be utilized to accommodate slower and faster players, to allow overlapping games so that a slower player can have more time to play while a faster player can finish one game and commence another before the first game has closed. Where no player achieves a winning combination, an award can be provided based on a pre-determined value of indicia received by the player, including a near miss or a lowest hand. In one embodiment, the near-miss award may be paid from a progressive jackpot, to increase player excitement and to incentivize players to try for a near-miss hand.

Should any table game become short of credits or chips, the master pool will disperse credits as needed to the respective tables. All credits cashed out by the players come out of the master pari-mutuel pool.

At the beginning of each game, an electronic random number generator selects a predetermined group of bingo numbers to be "blue" numbers, "green" numbers and "red" numbers. All of the other remaining numbers are "yellow" numbers for that particular game of bingo. When a player achieves a bingo, the player wins certain preestablished payouts depending upon whether the player has an all "blue" bingo, an all "green" bingo, an all "red" bingo, an all "yellow" bingo or any other bingo (which would be a "mixed color" bingo). The all "blue" bingo receives the highest payout, the all "green" bingo receives the next highest payout, the all "red" bingo receives the next highest payout, the all "yellow" bingo receives the next highest payout and the smallest payout is awarded to a regular "mixed color" bingo. A progressive feature can be added to the method of play of bingo in which the player makes a separate, additional wager to be eligible for the progressive jackpot payouts. Progressive jackpot pools can be established for an all "blue" bingo, an all "green" bingo, an all "red" bingo, an all "yellow" bingo or even for a "case" bingo. "Case" bingos are those in which a player has missed a bingo by one number. The "case" bingo is a "near miss" bingo and a jackpot pool can be used to pay those players who almost won.

摘要： This invention is directed to an improved collapsible box for trash compactors and particularly aircraft trash compactors. In the preferred embodiment, the front and rear panels are each provided with a pair of fold lines which extend from the lower edges of the panels to common points on the medial fold lines. These fold lines allow the front and rear panels to fold inwardly and the bottom panel to fold outwardly about the medial lines thereof.
