摘要： A method and apparatus for reducing intercolor bleed using pixel spot size control to improve print quality is provided. The method includes printing pixels having a first spot size in an image region having a boundary between a first color portion and a second color portion of the image by ejecting first sized ink drops from the printhead nozzles, and printing border pixels having spot sizes smaller than the first spot size in the image region by ejecting smaller ink drops from the printhead nozzles, wherein the smaller ink drops are smaller than the first sized ink drops. A printing system is provided having means for printing pixels in the region having the first spot size and means for printing border pixels having spot sizes smaller than the first spot size.

摘要： An improved optically coupled isolator uses a glass layer in combination with layers of junction coat material between the emitter and detector to provide greater electrical isolation while preventing potential ionic contamination in the glass from reaching the detector and causing a deterioration in its operating characteristics. The isolator is assembled using standard semiconductor processing techniques so that the cost of manufacture is not substantially increased.

摘要： An improved power distribution unit substation, having a plurality of differing voltage rated main breaker cells, encased within a single housing is disclosed. The improved power distribution substation saves considerable floor space as compared to prior art substations. One embodiment houses a plurality of main breaker cells in a single housing. In this embodiment, a low voltage main breaker cell is vertically positioned above a plurality of medium voltage main breaker cells. Alternatively, a medium voltage main breaker cell is vertically positioned above a plurality of low or medium voltage cells. Improved single-ended and double-ended power distribution substations are disclosed that offer cost and floor space savings as compared to prior art substations.
