摘要： A process for producing an emulsion polymer composition which comprises (a) emulsion-polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing no amino group in the molecule in the presence of a water-insoluble epoxy resin to form an emulsion polymer as seed particles, and then (b) emulsion-polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an amino group in the molecule and another ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with it in the presence of the emulsion polymer formed in step (a); in which(1) the weight ratio of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer to the epoxy resin in step (a) is from 100:100 to 100:5,(2) the weight ratio of the amino group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer to the other ethylenically unsaturated monomer in step (b) is from 1:99 to 25:75,(3) the ethylenically unsaturated monomer in step (a) and/or (b) contains 1 to 10% by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid,(4) the weight ratio of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer in step (a) to the ethylenically unsaturated monomer in step (b) is from 10:90 to 90:10, andthe weight ratio of the epoxy resin to the entire ethylenically unsaturated monomers is from 2:100 to 50:100.

摘要： An aqueous coating composition comprising, as essential components, an aqueous polyurethane resin (A) obtained by reacting a diisocyanate and glycols containing a carboxylic acid group-containing glycol to prepare an urethane prepolymer, neutralizing the urethane prepolymer and subjecting the neutralized urethane prepolymer to chain extension with a hydrazine derivative, and an aqueous dispersion (B) of an acrylic copolymer whose constituent monomers contain carbonyl group-containing monomer or an amido group-containing monomer in an amount of at least 0.5 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of total polymerizable monomers, wherein the weight ratio in terms of solid content, of the aqueous polyurethane resin (A) and the aqueous dispersion (B) of an acrylic copolymer is 100/5 to 5/100, and an aqueous coating composition obtained by, in the presence of the above aqueous polyurethane resin (A), polymerizing radical-polymerizable acrylic monomers (C) containing a carbonyl group-containing monomer or an amido group-containing monomer in an amount of at least 0.5 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of total polymerizable monomers, in such proportions that the weight ratio in terms of solid content, of the aqueous polyurethane resin (A) and the radical-polymerizable acrylic monomers (C) is 100/5 to 5/100.

摘要： The present invention relates to a gelled fluoride resin fine particle dispersion for use as a coating, to a method of production thereof, and to a method using this gelled fluoride resin fine dispersion to protect an alkaline inorganic hardened body.The objective of the present invention is to provide an aqueous resin for use as a coating, this aqueous resin being able to form a high performance coating film that is superior in its ability to inhibit the leaching out of the alkaline substance from the alkaline inorganic hardened body, which has excellent weatherability, water resistance, alkaline resistance, and dirt picking resistance.The present invention accomplishes the stated objective through the utilization of gelled fine particles of a fluorine containing resin.The present invention may be used in the coating field.

摘要： A composition for water-base paints, said composition comprising (I) a water-soluble resin, and (II) a water-dispersible polymer containing at least one group selected from the class consisting of hydroxyl and carboxyl groups, said water-soluble resin being obtained by polymerizing 50 to 99.5% by weight of an alkyl ester of an .alpha.,.beta.-monoethylenically unsaturated acid or an alkenyl benzene, 0.5 to 20% by weight of an .alpha.,.beta.-monoethylenically unsaturated acid and 0 to 30% by weight of a hydroxyalkyl ester of an .alpha.,.beta.-monoethylenically unsaturated acid in the presence of at least one unsaturated compound selected from the group consisting of alkyd resins containing a polymerizable unsaturated group, epoxy esters containing a polymerizable unsaturated group, drying oils, fatty acids of drying oils and diene polymers, and water-solubilizing the product with ammonia or an amine.
