摘要： A motor has a stator and a rotor, the stator having cores and drive coils which generate magnetic fields for rotating the rotor. The stator also has a yoke surrounding the rotor and the rotor is positioned such that it is closer to one part of the outer periphery of the yoke than another part of the outer periphery of the yoke. Such a motor is particularly suitable for use in a disk drive unit as a spindle motor for rotating the disk. Then an actuator for moving a head may be located adjacent the part of the outer periphery of the yoke which is closest to the rotor. This permits the head to approach closely the axis of rotation of the disk without the spindle motor interferring with the movement of the head. The continuous yoke prevents magnetic flux leakage from the spindle motor interferring with the actuator. The actuator may itself have a yoke integral with the yoke of the spindle motor, and/or other components in common.

摘要： A portable-type disk apparatus for a 3.5-inch or less optical disk implemented in a thin, light-weight and miniaturized structure having a vibration-withstanding capability. An optical head assembly is disposed stationarily while an optical disk and a spindle motor for rotating the optical disk are disposed movably in a diametrical direction of the optical disk. The spindle motor is constituted by a brushless motor of a substantially semi-circular form in cross section and having a laterally truncated portion. The optical head assembly including an optical head and a laser circuit is disposed at the side of the laterally truncated portion.

摘要： In order to provide a speed control apparatus for a movable equipment having small torque ripples and speed variation, the present invention has a speed control means which comprises a driver for providing a current or a voltage having a magnitude corresponding to the instructed speed, a speed detection circuit for detecting a speed on the basis of a signal from the speed detector and a microcomputer for driving the driver by comparing the speed instruction signal with a speed signal obtained from the speed detection circuit. The microcomputer includes a harmonic wave component detecting means for detecting a harmonic wave component contained in a speed variation mode which is obtained from the speed detection circuit and has a function of making the gain of a speed control system variable by the harmonic wave component detected by the harmonic wave component detecting means.

摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide an electric drive system which ensures effective generation of torque from the start to the maximum speed, and extended cruising distance and upgraded running performances. The drive system according to the present invention is characterized in that, in a electric vehicle to be driven by the wheels which are driven by the rotary output of two or more motors, said two or more motors comprise at least two different types of motors, and the system is provided with the control means to adjust the share of the vehicle driving force to be generated by each of said motors in conformity to the running state of said vehicle. These two or more motors comprise a combination of a low speed drive motor and high speed drive motor, and a highly efficient motor is used as said low speed motor, while a motor having a greater capacity and greater base speed than said low speed drive motor is used as the high speed drive motor. The share of the driving force of said vehicle is controlled by the control means such that up to the maximum torque is generated by said low speed drive motor, with the remaining torque generated by said high speed drive motor.

The stator comprises a stator core, and a distributed stator winding mounted to the stator core.
