摘要： Catalysts for olefin polymerization comprising (a) a compound of a transition metal of Groups 8 to 10 of the Periodic Table, (b) clay, a clay mineral or an ion-exchanging layered compound, (c) a silane compound, and optionally (d) an organic aluminium compound and/or (e) an alkylating agent, and those comprising (a) a compound of a transition metal of Groups 8 to 10 of the Periodic Table, (b) clay, a clay mineral or an ion-exchanging layered compound, (d) an organic aluminium compounds and optionally (e) an alkylating agent have high activity, though not containing a large amount of aluminoxane. Using the catalysts, high-quality olefin polymers with good morphology are produced efficiently. The amount of the residual metal to remain in the polymers produced is small.

摘要： Provided area catalyst for polymerizing olefinic monomers, which comprises (a) a transition metal compound, (b) at least one member selected from clay, clay minerals and ion-exchanging layered compounds, (c) a silane compound, and optionally (d) an alkylating agent; a catalyst for polymerizing olefinic monomers, which comprises (a) a transition metal compound, (b) at least one member selected from clay, clay minerals and ion-exchanging layered compounds, (c) a silane compound, and optionally (e) an organic aluminum compound, and further optionally (d) an alkylating agent; and a method for producing olefinic polymers or styrenic polymers, which comprises homopolymerizing or copolymerizing olefinic or styrenic monomers in the presence of the catalyst for polymerizing olefinic monomers. The method does not require a large amount of aluminoxane, and the catalyst to be used therein has high polymerization activity. Using the catalyst, olefinic polymers and styrenic polymers having high stereospecificity are obtained. The amount of the metallic component remaining in the polymers produced is small, and the polymers have high quality. As being highly efficient, the method is favorable to industrial use.

摘要： Triethylene diamines are prepared in a high yield with an amine compound having a specific group as the starting material by bringing the same into contact with a catalyst formed of a crystalline metal silicate of which the molar ratio (SiO.sub.2 /M.sub.2 O.sub.3) of silicon dioxide (SiO.sub.2) to the oxide of a tervalent metal (M.sub.2 O.sub.3, M being the tervalent metal) is at least 12. Particularly high efficiency can be obtained by using a crystalline metal silicate crystallized in the presence of an organic crystallizing agent.

摘要： The present invention provides a process for producing a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon prepared using an α-olefin as a raw material and represented by the general formula (1), including the steps of: (I) producing a vinylidene olefin by dimerizing the α-olefin in the presence of a metallocene complex catalyst; (II) further dimerizing the vinylidene olefin in the presence of an acid catalyst; and (III) hydrogenating the obtained dimer. Further, there are provided a lubricant composition containing the saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon compound produced by the above process, a bearing oil consisting of the lubricant composition, and making use of the same, a bearing and gyral equipment. The saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon compounds produced by the process of the present invention have low-temperature fluidity, exhibiting low evaporativity, and excellent in thermal stability and oxidation stability. Thus, the saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon compounds are suitable for use as, for example, a base oil of lubricant composition for hydraulic pressure, turbine, working machine, bearing, gear, metal-working, etc.
