摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a conductive substrate having formed thereon a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating material, a charge transporting material, and a binder resin, wherein said charge transporting material comprises a benzidine compound and/or a low-molecular weight charge transporting material having a molecular weight of from 200 to 400 and said binder resin mainly comprises a polycarbonate resin comprising a recurring unit represented by formula (I): ##STR1## and having a viscosity-average molecular weight ranging from 50,000 and 100,000, said charge transporting material and said binder resin being at a weight ratio of from 25:75 to 60:40. The photoreceptor exhibits improved abrasion resistance and improved peeling resistance while retaining excellent electrical and image characteristics.

摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a conductive substrate having formed thereon a photosensitive layer containing, as binder resins, (A) a polycarbonate resin comprising a recurring unit represented by formula (I): ##STR1## and (B) a polycarbonate resin comprising a recurring unit represented by formula (II) or (III): ##STR2## wherein X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or (B') a copolycarbonate resin comprising a recurring unit represented by formula (II) and a recurring unit represented by formula (IV): ##STR3## said polycarbonate resin (B) or copolycarbonate resin (B') having a lower molecular weight than that of said polycarbonate resin (A). The photoreceptor had high film strength against abrasion and causes no toner filming or adhesion of any other foreign substances and is therefore excellent in electric characteristics and image characteristics.

摘要： Provided is a Co—Ni-based alloy in which a crystal is easily controlled, a method of controlling a crystal of a Co—Ni-based alloy, a method of producing a Co—Ni-based alloy, and a Co—Ni-based alloy having controlled crystallinity. The Co—Ni-based alloy includes Co, Ni, Cr, and Mo, in which the Co—Ni-based alloy has a crystal texture in which a Goss orientation is a main orientation. The Co—Ni-based alloy preferably has a composition including, in terms of mass ratio: 28 to 42% of Co, 10 to 27% of Cr, 3 to 12% of Mo, 15 to 40% of Ni, 0.1 to 1% of Ti, 1.5% or less of Mn, 0.1 to 26% of Fe, 0.1% or less of C, and an inevitable impurity; and at least one kind selected from the group consisting of 3% or less of Nb, 5% or less of W, 0.5% or less of Al, 0.1% or less of Zr, and 0.01% or less of B.

摘要： An image stripping apparatus includes: a stripping roller which strips an image forming material from an image recording medium by contacting the image forming material on the image recording medium; a cleaning roller for removing, from the stripping roller, the image forming material which has been transferred to the stripping roller; and a cleaning blade stripping the image forming material from the cleaning roller. The stripping roller has a surface layer made of a material having affinity and releasability with respect to the image forming material and the image recording medium. Thus, the stripping roller exhibits peelability required for stripping of the image forming material from the image recording medium and releasability required for removal of a transferred image forming material from the stripping roller.
