    • A thermoplastic vinyl chloride polymer composition superior in processing properties is provided. The composition comprises (I) a predominant amount of polyvinyl chloride or a copolymer predominantly comprised of vinyl chloride and (II) a minor amount of two stage sequentially produced methyl methacrylate composite polymer consisting essentially of1 to 49 wt. % of component A polymerized from a monomer or monomer mixture of 90 to 100 wt. % of methyl methacrylate and 0 to 10 wt. % of at least one copolymerizable unsaturated monomer, said component A having a glass transition temperature of at least 75.degree. C and a reduced viscosity of 1.8 to approximately 10; and51 to 99 wt. % of component B polymerized onto or in the presence of said component A from a monomer mixture of 55 to 90 wt. % of a methyl methacrylate, 10 to 45 wt. % of an acrylic acid ester and 0 to 20 wt. % of at least one unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with methyl methacrylate and the acrylic acid ester, said component B exhibiting, if polymerized in the absence of said component A, a glass transition temperature of 25.degree. to 80.degree. C and a reduced viscosity of 1.8 to 10.

    • A transparent vinyl chloride resin composition excellent in surface gloss and resistant to weathering and impact, comprising 97 to 60 parts by weight of a vinyl-chloride polymer and 3 to 40 parts by weight of a graft copolymer (B) obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a mixture of an aromatic vinyl monomer and a polyfunctional crosslinking agent having at least one allyl group, then polymerizing, in the presence of the resulting polymer latex, a mixture of an alkyl acrylate having 2 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and a polyfunctional crosslinking agent having at least one allyl group to form an acrylic elastomer (A) in the first stage the proportions of said alkyl acrylate and said aromatic vinyl monomer being 50 to 70% by weight and 50 to 30% by weight, respectively, and the amount of said crosslinking agent used being 0.1 to 5 parts by weight in total per 100 parts by weight of the sum of said alkyl acrylate and said aromatic vinyl monomer; and graft-polymerizing, in the presence of the resulting acrylic elastomer (A), first methyl methacrylate and subsequently an aromatic vinyl monomer in the second stage, the proportions of said methyl methacrylate and said aromatic vinyl monomer being 30 to 80% by weight and 70 to 20% by weight, respectively, and the total amount of said methyl methacrylate and said aromatic vinyl monomer used being 70 to 20 parts by weight per 30 to 80 parts by weight of said acrylic elastomer (A).

    • An impact resistant plastic graft copolymer composition is prepared by1. agglomerating 100 parts by weight in terms of the solids content of a synthetic rubber latex (A) containing small-sized rubber particles by adding 0.1 - 5 parts by weight, in terms of the solids content of a carboxylic acid containing copolymer latex (B) having a pH of at least 4, said copolymer latex being prepared by polymerizing a mixture of monomers comprising 5 - 20% by weight of at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, itaconic acid and crotonic acid and 95-80% by weight of alkyl acrylate having 1 to 12 carbon atoms in the alkyl group, in the presence of at least one anionic emulsifier, and adjusting the pH of the mixed latexes (A) and (B) to not less than 6;2. stabilizing the agglomerated latex with at least one nonionic emulsifier, and3. grafting 93-30 parts by weight of a monomer or mixture of monomers, which is capable of producing a glassy thermoplastic polymer having a glass transition temperature of not less than 50.degree.C in the presence of or onto 7-70 parts by weight in terms of solids content of the agglomerated and stabilized synthetic rubber latex.

    • A multi-layer structure polymer composition having a gel content of at least 50% which is constituted of an innermost layer polymer (A) consisting mainly of alkyl acrylate and having a degree of swelling of 10 or lower, and having a glass transition temperature lower than 10.degree. C., a crosslinked elastomer polymer (B) consisting mainly of alkyl acrylate and having a degree of swelling slightly higher than that of said polymer (A) and having a glass transition temperature not higher than 0.degree. C., said innermost layer polymer (A) and said crosslinked elastomer polymer (B) constituting a double layer elastomer structure polymer, as well as an outermost layer polymer (C) consisting mainly of alkyl methacrylate and having a glass transition temperature not lower than 60.degree. C., and at least one intermediate layer (D) existing between said polymer (B) layer and said polymer (C) layer, the amount of alkyl acrylate in said intermediate layer (D) linearly decreasing from said polymer (B) layer to said polymer (C) layer. Said polymer composition does not readily show the phenomenon of whitening even if dipped in hot water or boiling water and is excellent in weather resistance, solvent resistance, stress-whitening resistance, water-whitening resistance and transparency.
