摘要： The present invention relates to rinse-added laundry additive compounds having a color care agent and to methods for using the compositions. The laundry additive composition comprises from about 0.1% to about 50% of by weight of the composition of a color care agent having the formula:(R.sub.1)(R.sub.2)N(CX.sub.2).sub.n N(R.sub.3)(R.sub.4)wherein X is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, linear or branched; substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having from 1-10 carbons atoms and substituted or unsubstituted aryl having at least 6 carbon atoms; n is an integer from 1 to 6; R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl; aryl; alkaryl; arylalk; hydroxyalkyl; polyhydroxyalkyl; polyalkylether having the formula --((CH.sub.2).sub.y O).sub.z R.sub.7 where R.sub.7 is hydrogen or a linear, branched, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl chain having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms and where y is an integer from 2 to 10 and z is an integer from 1 to 30; alkoxy; polyalkoxy having the formula: --(O(CH.sub.2).sub.y).sub.z R.sub.7 ; the group --C(O)R.sub.8 where R.sub.8 is alkyl; alkaryl; arylalk; hydroxyalkyl; polyhydroxyalkyl, and polyalkylether as defined in R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 ; CX.sub.2 CX.sub.2 N(R.sub.5)(R.sub.6) with no more than one of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 being CX.sub.2 CX.sub.2 N(R.sub.5)(R.sub.6) and wherein R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are alkyl; alkaryl; arylalk; hydroxyalkyl; polyhydroxyalkyl, polyalkylether, alkoxy and polyalkoxy as defined in R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 ; and either of R.sub.1 +R.sub.3 or R.sub.4 or R.sub.2 +R.sub.3 or R.sub.4 can combine to form a cyclic substituent. Thus, monopersulfate bleach such as 2KHSO.sub.5.KHSO.sub.4.K.sub.2 SO.sub.4 is used in combination with protease or amylase enzymes and acrylate organic dispersants to provide good cleaning of tableware. Weak builders such as citrate and pH-adjusting agents such as carbonate, bicarbonate and silicate can be present in the composition.

In a highly preferred embodiment the bleaching compositions within the invention are detergent compositions.

These compounds have markedly improved stability characteristics relative to the corresponding peroxycarboxylic acids, especially when admixed with alkaline granular detergent products. The activity of the magnesium peroxycarboxylate salts after dissolution is the same as that of the corresponding peroxycarboxylic acids, especially when used as laundry bleaches. The compound within this invention also have improved odor and dissolution characteristics relative to the corresponding peroxycarboxylic acids.
