摘要： In a television receiver, a dynamic, parabolic correction voltage for focusing is generated by way of a transformer whose primary winding is fed with the line deflection current or a line-frequency voltage and to whose secondary winding a capacitor is connected, which capacitor integrates the sawtooth-waveform current in the secondary winding into a parabolic voltage. New types of picture tubes require a correction voltage which does not have a parabolic profile, rather whose form corresponds approximately to the cross section through the center of a bathtub. It is an object to provide a simple circuit for generating such a bathtub-waveform correction voltage. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that a frequency-dependent network, in particular a series resonant circuit comprising an inductance and a capacitance, is connected in parallel with the capacitor, which network is tuned in such a way that the network effects an additional sinusoidal current with a period duration approximately equal to the line trace period. The circuit is particularly simple, requires no active elements, effects a low power loss, can be used with a current transformer and furthermore enables blanking of the correction voltage during the vertical blanking interval.

The regulating speed is, instead, switched either discontinuously or continuously, so that it does not attain a high level before the midpoint of the synchronizing pulse. The regulating speed is increased within a synchronizing window to an increasing extent up to the midpoint of the window, whereas the regulating speed decreases to a decreasing extent from that midpoint. The regulating speed of the phase regulating circuit is associated with the horizontal deflection in a television receiver, where interference in the vicinity of the synchronizing pulse has a detrimental effect, particularly near the edges.

When appliances fail, the excess energy component can increase to the extent that components are destroyed because the operating voltage increases.To prevent this situation the excess energy is recirculated into a higher operating voltage U.sub.S through a diode and through another secondary winding of the transformer. The number of turns in the second secondary winding and its polarity ensure that the flyback voltage U.sub.R will be higher than the difference between U.sub.S and U.sub.B.Switching-network components in conjunction with rectifier modulators in television receivers.

摘要： A method of controlling the switching transistor in the switch mode power supply of a television receiver includes the steps of selectively operating the transistor in a stand-by state, a start-up state and an ON-state. During the stand-by state the switching transistor is rendered conductive by applying bursts of pulses at a frequency above, and unsynchronized with, the line frequency of the television receiver. The pulses are separated by changing intervals. During the start-up state the frequency of said bursts of the pulses is continuously reduced and pulses and the duration of the on time of the transistor is determined using a regulation voltage. During the ON-state, line synchronizing pulses are applied and the switching transistor is regulated to the line frequency.

The distortion is reflected by a cathode-ray tube which has a substantially flat picture screen, in which horizontal lines to be displayed form in angle with a horizontal reference grid.
