    • The present invention relates to a short range wireless communication device for providing an application service based on an area. In particular, an apparatus for providing an application service based on an area in a small cell including a femtocell base station or a WiFi Access Point, the apparatus including a communication unit to receive a list of application services from an Application Service Provisioning Server, select and download at least one application service from the received list, an application service database to store the at least one downloaded application service, a service controller to install the at least one downloaded application service, or uninstall an installed application service, a user equipment access detector to detect a user equipment entering or exiting a service area, and a user equipment database to store an identifier and information of the user equipment entering or exiting the service area.

    • A Software Communications Architecture (SCA)-based software-defined radio (SDR) terminal and a reconfiguration method thereof are provided. The SDR terminal includes a software module including first and second hardware modules that are programmable and a memory storing at least one wireless access application; and a software module including a reconfiguration core framework that perform a service mode switch using the wireless access application, wherein, if a service mode switch from a first service mode to a second service mode occurs, the SDR terminal installs a wireless access application corresponding to the second service mode in one of the first and second hardware modules.

    • The present invention relates to a software communications architecture (SCA)-based system, and a file parsing method and an application generation method thereof. In the present invention, the SCA-based system integrates parsers related to application driving into one parser to generate one integration parser, and implements a parser manager that executes an integration parser function by a common object request broker architecture (CORBA) component. Therefore, when the other manager components need information of descriptor files related to application driving, the other manager components request it from the parser manager of the corresponding information without generating a new parser, and the parser manager provides the corresponding information to the other manager components.
