    • The device comprises a reservoir (3) containing an active principle in ionized form, first (1) and second (2) electrodes in contact with a face of the reservoir (3) and the skin (6) of the patient, respectively, the other face of the reservoir being applied to the skin (6) of the patient and means (5) for circulating selectively an electric current between said electrodes in order to help the passage of a flow of active principle under the patient's skin.     • A solution of active principle, in ionized form, impregnates a layer (2) forming part of the reservoir (1). A measurement of the quantity of active principle contained in this layer is derived from a measurement of the conductivity of this layer.
