    • A method of playing a game of chance, and the game of chance, include providing a player with one, two or three game boards at the selection of the player. Each board has a linear arrangement of three spaces, and each space is marked with a game number chosen from a set of game numbers. The boards are aligned adjacent to each other if the player is provided with three boards to create a 3.times.3 array of marked spaces. A plurality of numbers is randomly selected one at a time from a collection of numbers. Each space is covered with a token if the game number marked on the space matches the number selected from the collection of numbers. The player wins the game if when one or two boards are played the player covers all the spaces on either board or when three boards are played the player covers any three linearly consecutive spaces of the 3.times.3 array. The game may be any n-number game of chance played with boards having linear arrangements of n marked spaces. The game may also be implemented as an electronic game of chance.

The player places a wager relating to the game number, and a ranking order of the game participants is determined, such as by a race to a finishing point. The sum of the identification numbers of a subset of the game participants may be calculated. The number of lengths by which a first ordered game participant beats another ordered game participant to the finishing point may also be calculated. Whether the player's wager is a winning wager is determined by comparing the sum or the number of lengths to the game number. The wagering game may be implemented as an electronic game.

    • A wagering game is played by a player by providing an initial set of betting chips to the player. A quantity of cards is dealt from a deck of cards equal to a quantity of hands, each of the cards being dealt in one of a plurality of dealing groups to form the hands. The player places a wager on one of the quantity of hands based on a subset of the initial set of betting chips, the subset of wagering chips being removed from the initial set of wagering chips. The placing and dealing steps are repeated until a predetermined number of cards has been dealt in a number of dealing groups equal to the predetermined number to complete the hands. The highest ranking hand is determined, and a payout to the player is calculated based on the sequence of dealing groups, the payout for each of the player's betting chips depending upon the dealing group for which the chip was wagered.
