    • Methods for initializing a storage system over a network are described. A server initialization utility operates on each of several storage processing units. A client initialization utility operates on a client computing device. The client initialization utility and server initialization utility communicate via a network coupled to the client computing device and the storage processing units. The client initialization utility is used to initialize parameters for each storage processing unit via communication with the corresponding server initialization utility. The client initialization utility is further used to discover array and storage processing identification information. The client and server initialization utilities communicate via exchange of UDP broadcast datagrams.

    • A quick coupling for joining two fluid lines includes a first part which has a projection with a. sloping surface directed towards one axial end and a stop face directed towards the other axial end, and a second part which has at least one bracket with a catch that engages behind the stop face in a locked position. An assembly indicator is arranged next to the catch. In the locked position, the indicator projects outward beyond a catch segment of the bracket on which the catch is located, but, in the unlocked position, the indicator projects outward at most as far as the catch segment.

    • The present invention relates to a device for mounting a switch or the like on a mounting plate. The switch comprises a housing with a housing top side supported on the back side of the mounting plate, a fastening protrusion including fastening means, as well as a plurality of resilient tongues, each having a locking protrusion. The fastening protrusion and the resilient tongues are inserted for mounting purposes from behind into an opening of the mounting plate, with the locking protrusions locking in place with the front edge of the opening. Furthermore, the device comprises a fastening element that can be mounted from the front side of the mounting plate and cooperates with the fastening means of the fastening protrusion. According to the invention the resilient tongues extend from the housing top side substantially in vertical direction and are spaced apart from the fastening protrusion. Moreover, according to the invention the fastening element is formed by a sleeve that can be inserted from the front side of the mounting plate into the opening of the mounting plate.

    • The present invention relates to a railroad toggle switch for a plurality of switching positions, the toggle switch comprising a housing, an operating lever supported on the housing and having a pivot axis, a switching cylinder supported on the housing and having a rotational axis, a plurality of microswitches and an engaging mechanism for engagement of the operating lever in the switching positions. The switching cylinder is here provided with a plurality of cam disks for operating the microswitches. According to the invention the pivot axis of the operating lever is located in the area of the housing top side and is different from the rotational axis of the switching cylinder, the operating lever being in engagement with the switching cylinder.
