摘要： Two conflicting functions of sealing and lubrication of sliding faces are achieved for a long time. The sliding face of a rotating-side seal ring 3 is provided with dynamic pressure generation grooves 11 configured to communicate with the circumferential edge on the inner peripheral side of the sliding face and not to communicate with the circumferential edge on the outer peripheral side. A spring 7 is provided on the back side of a stationary-side seal ring 6 for pressing the stationary-side seal ring 6 against the sliding face of the rotating-side seal ring 3. A spring holder 8 is provided between the back side of the stationary-side seal ring 6 and the spring 7.

摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to provide a slide component that can exhibit sealing performance and lubricity regardless of rotating direction. A pair of slide components 4, 7 that slide relative to each other have sliding faces S that slide relative to each other, and a sealed fluid-side periphery 16 and a leakage-side periphery 15. The sliding face S of at least one slide component 4 of the pair of slide components 4, 7 includes: a fluid introduction groove 13 in communication with the sealed fluid-side periphery 16; a first pressure generation mechanism 12 of which one end is in communication with the fluid introduction groove 13 and the other end is surrounded by a land portion R1; and a second pressure generation mechanism 11 of which one end is in communication with the leakage-side periphery 15 and the other end is surrounded by an annular land portion R2. The fluid introduction groove 13 and the other end 12e of the first pressure generation mechanism 12 include overlapping portions Lp overlapping circumferentially.

摘要： In an exemplary embodiment, a sliding member includes sliding faces S configured to slide in relation to one another, at least one sliding face 5 of the sliding faces being provided with a plurality of dimples 11 having multi-sided shapes whose edges are formed without interruption. A pair of the edges A1-B1, A1-C1 of each of the multi-sided dimples 11, extending radially on opposite sides of a radial axis R of the sliding member, are sloped to become farther apart as they extend toward a high-pressure fluid side, and an edge B1-C1, which connects end points B1, C1 on the high-pressure fluid side of the pair of the edges, is formed such that its length is not greater than the lengths of the pair of the edges A1-B1, A1-C1. The sliding member can reduce friction between the sliding faces and improve sealing performance regardless of the direction of rotation.

摘要： A sliding component has a plurality of dimples provided independently in a circumferential direction on one sealing face of a pair of sliding components relatively sliding to each other. A cavitation formation region on an upstream side of each dimple is disposed closer to a low-pressure fluid side and a positive pressure generation region on a downstream side of each dimple is disposed closer to a high-pressure fluid side, and an edge on the low-pressure fluid side of the positive pressure generation region is formed into a tapered shape inclined with respect to the rotating direction of the other sealing face toward the high-pressure fluid side from the low-pressure fluid side and is smoothly connected to an edge on the low-pressure fluid side of the cavitation formation region.

A sliding component has a pair of sliding members at least one of which has positive pressure generation mechanisms and negative pressure generation mechanisms formed at a sliding surface of the sliding member. The negative pressure generation mechanisms are arranged on a low-pressure fluid side with respect to the positive pressure generation mechanisms. Adjoining two of the negative pressure generation mechanisms in a circumferential direction overlap with each other in a radial direction.
