摘要： A multiple channel programmable gamma correction voltage generator including a resistor ladder, buffers, select logic, and a programmable non-volatile memory device. The memory provides select values indicative of one or more stored gamma correction values. The resistor ladder includes adjustable tap resistors distributed along the resistor ladder. The adjustable tap resistors provide multiple tap voltages distributed according to the gamma correction value. The buffers receive the tap voltages and provide gamma correction voltages. The select logic selects tap points of the adjustable tap resistors to select the tap voltages based on the select values stored in the memory. Additional resistors and switch logic may be included to enable re-positioning of the adjustable tap resistor within the resistor ladder. Latches and address control may be provided on the memory to enable programming and selection of multiple gamma correction values.

The systems include a drawdown pump, a probe configured to engage with a borehole wall and extract fluid from a formation, and a control element operably connected to the probe and the drawdown pump to perform a formation pressure testing operation. The formation pressure testing operation includes extracting a fluid from the formation for at least three drawdown intervals, monitoring a fluid pressure for a response interval at an end of each drawdown interval, measuring a fluid pressure at an end of each response interval to obtain a data point for each response interval, wherein each response interval is of the same duration, and wherein at least three data points are obtained, and performing a best fit analysis on the at least three data points, wherein the best fit analysis calculates a formation pressure.

摘要： A method of controlling the molecular weight of poly(cyclic)olefin (norbornene-type) polymers and activating the polymerization thereof with a single material is provided. Such method include adding a chain transfer/activating agent to a mixture of monomer(s), catalyst, solvent and an optional cocatalyst and polymerizing the mixture to form a polymer. It is shown that the amount of chain transfer/activating agent in the mixture can serve to control the molecular weight of the resulting polymer, its percent conversion or both, and in some embodiments the optical density of the resulting polymer.

The error is correlated with a second error for a targeted path in a previously written track of the disk. A correction is generated for a feed-forward signal used to position a writing element which is used to write servo data for a subsequent track of the disk.
