摘要： A miniaturized total analysis system with an in-line NMR detection compartment and an NMR rf microcoil detector is described for use in liquid phase analysis. The device is formed by microfabrication of microstructures in novel support substrates. The NMR detector coil may be fabricated directly in the support body at the point of detection or, alternatively, may be formed as part of a modular structure that is insertable into the device at the point of detection. In addition, an integrated device for sample preparation and NMR detection is provided comprising the miniaturized total analysis system and a miniature magnet configured to accept the miniaturized total analysis system, wherein the device is capable of generating an NMR spectrum. The invention herein is used for the analysis of small and/or macromolecular and/or other solutes in the liquid phase.

摘要： A body fluid sampling system for use on a tissue site includes a single drive force generator. A plurality of penetrating members are operatively coupled to the force generator. The force generator moves each of the members along a path out of a housing with a penetrating member exit, into the tissue site, stops in the tissue site, and withdraws out of the tissue site. A flexible support member couples the penetrating members to define a linear array. The support member is movable and configured to move each of the penetrating members to a launch position associated with the force generator.

摘要： In one aspect, a body fluid sampling device is provided using a penetrating member to extract fluid from an anatomical feature. The device comprises a penetrating member actuator for moving the penetrating member inbound towards the anatomical feature and a non-spring based, penetrating member retractor for moving the penetrating member outbound away from the anatomical feature. The penetrating member actuator may be adapted to move the penetrating member at a velocity greater than a velocity achieved by the penetrating member retractor.

摘要： These and other objects of the present invention are achieved in a body fluid sampling system for use on a tissue site that includes a drive force generator and a penetrating member operatively coupled to the force generator. The force generator moves the member along a path out of a housing with a penetrating member exit, into the tissue site, stops in the tissue site, and withdraws out of the tissue site. The drive force generator is configured to be controlled to follow a predetermined velocity trajectory into the tissue and out of the tissue. A tissue stabilizing member is associated with the device and at least partially surrounds an impact location of the penetrating member on the tissue site.
