The prosthesis includes a first body (22) having a first body articulating surface (24) defining a generally circular outer periphery (26) of the first body articulating surface (24). The first body (22) has a support surface (28) opposed to the articulating surface (24). The support surface (28) is adapted to receive the head of the long bone (3). The prosthesis (20) also includes a second body (30) operably associated with the first body (22). The second body (30) has a second body articulating surface (32) extending from a portion of the circular outer periphery (26) of the first body articulating surface (24). A tool kit for preparing a humerus to receive a prosthesis is also disclosed.

摘要： A bone cutting assembly. The bone cutting assembly includes a guide pin having a distal tip that may be securely inserted into a bone to define a cutting axis and a housing having a cam surface and features which allow the housing to be temporarily secured to the bone. The bone cutting assembly further includes a burr mounting arm which can be fitted on to the guide pin so that it can swing around the cutting axis and also translate up and down the guide pin. The burr mounting arm is configured to act against the cam surface as it is swung around the guide pin, so that the arm is caused to move up or down relative to the guide pin by the action of the cam surface.

摘要： A reamer for use in performing arthroplasty includes a first cutting structure having an inner concave surface that defines a first cavity and terminates in a generally circular leading edge. The inner concave surface includes a first cutting feature that is spaced apart from the leading edge. An elongate member extends from the first cutting structure into the first cavity toward the leading edge that includes a second cutting feature. A second cutting structure is secured to the elongate member and positioned within the first cavity. The second cutting structure extends outwardly from the elongate member toward the inner concave surface and includes a third cutting feature.
