    • A redundant system includes a redundant structure and a selector of the output signals of the redundant structure the selector further including a selection/operation signal converter and a path operation signal processor provided in each circuit package. The signal converter converts selection signals of the selector into a path operation signal indicative of operation or non-operation of each signal path in each of the parallel connected systems. The signal processor transfers the path operation signal from a downstream circuit package to an upstream circuit package and judges path operation condition of the signal paths passing through each circuit package based on the transferred oath operation signal. Using the judgement, each circuit package can perform on/off control of the indication lamp by itself.

    • A self-distributed transmission line failure restoring system includes three nodes or more arbitrarily interconnected by bidirectional transmission lines. Each of the nodes includes an alternate route search information transmitting unit, an alternate route connection information transmitting unit, a check information transmitting unit, and a check information receiving unit. The alternate route search information transmitting unit transmits alternate route search information to all of the connected transmission lines. The alternate route connection information transmitting unit forms alternate route connection information having a node trace and transmitting the information to a connection destination node. The check information transmitting unit receives the alternate route connection information to set an alternate route and transmitting check information having a node trace to a connection source node through the set alternate route. The check information receiving unit receives the check information to determine an alternate route of a failed transmission line.

    • An ATM transmitter distributes an ATM transmission process function to plural electronic circuit packages and performs transmission process by forming routes between the plural circuit packages. The routes can be flexibly varied while a configuration of a variety of process functions are managed. The cell distribution section which has plural input and output terminals connected to respective electronic circuit packages forms a route among respective ones of the arbitrary input and output terminals so that receive ATM cells are input and output between respective electronic circuit packages. Process functions are arranged for each electronic circuit package. The function configuration of all the electronic circuit packages is previously set. Thus, a route formation is indicated to the cell distribution section. In other case, input and output terminals for each route are sequentially arranged along the route. The control order of receive ATM cells is previously set. Thus, a receive ATM cell transmission process is performed by the cell distribution section. Moreover, the number of times ATM cells are input and output is arranged for each input and output terminal so that the cell distribution section repeats an input and output operations to the same input and output terminal.

Connected between the input lines and the input terminals, processing circuits make the input digital signals comprise input terminal codes assigned to the input terminals to which the processing circuits are connected, respectively. Judging circuits are connected to the output terminals to judge whether or not the input terminal codes included in output digital signals are coincident with output signals sent from the memory, respectively.
