    • A chemical analysis system is disclosed wherein, in evacuating a preconcentrator housing (2) prior to desorption, a pump system (13) reduces an internal pressure of the preconcentrator housing to a level substantially equal to an internal pressure of a chemical analyzer such that flow restrictors and/or membranes (15) between the chemical analyzer (7) and the preconcentrator housing (2) may be omitted. The chemical analysis system includes a chemical analyzer (7), a preconcentrator housing (2) coupled to the chemical analyzer, the preconcentrator housing enclosing a temperature control element (5, 18) and a sorbent material (1), the temperature control element configured to heat the sorbent material to adsorb or desorb a chemical of interest; and a pump system (13) coupled to the preconcentrator housing and the chemical analyzer, the pump system configured to evacuate the preconcentrator housing prior to desorption of the chemical of interest.

    • A device is disclosed for warming tortillas and other foods. The device operates with a standard electric alternating current ranging from 110 to 120 volts in the US and 220v -240v in other countries. This appliance is to be used in homes or in businesses for the purpose of warming either corn or flour tortillas in quantities ranging from one up to six at a time. The electric current provides energy to heater elements located within the unit and thus provide the heat necessary to warm the tortillas placed on a plurality of circular loading trays. The loading trays are specially designed to lock-in-place in the open and closed positions and are designed to work with a vertical pivot tube which allows the loading trays a pivot-swivel action for efficiency in the loading and unloading of tortillas.

    • An improved foodstuffs container configured to be readily received with a cup holder having a relatively standard size recess such as that commonly provided in armrests of many theater chairs so as to hold the container while the patron is not eating or optionally, drinking from the cup is disclosed. The container includes a walled tray structure supported by a contiguous container base sized and shaped to be supported within the standard cup holder. The walled tray structure may be configured with a planar or other shaped bottom, with or without partitions to received the desired foodstuffs either in volume or in discretely separated portions. The container base has an interior recess contiguous with the volume of the walled tray structure to receive and support additional foodstuffs readily accessed from above.
