摘要： A method and kit for transferring personalized images on mugs or similar-type articles. The kit includes an instruction and order entry sheet for selecting a desired transfer medium for receiving a predetermined image thereon capable of being transferred onto a mug. The kit may also include a mailer having means for holding and containing the order of entry and a customer image which is to be incorporated into said transfer medium. A clamp is provided for clamping of the transfer medium onto said mug while in a heated environment.

摘要： A method and apparatus for processing a photosensitive material. The apparatus includes at least one processing section and a replenishment system for delivering replenishment solution contained within a container to the processing section. The replenishment system including a single device for withdrawing replenishment solution from the container and for monitoring the level of the replenishment solution contained in the container. The container is made of a material that is electrically non-conductive. A pair of spaced electrically conductive members are provided within the container. One of the members has a passageway for allowing flow processing solution therethrough and one has a terminal end which extends below the other member within the container. An AC current is applied to the pair of spaced members and the AC current is monitored with a level sensing circuit. When the replenishment solution falls below the end of the shorter member, a low level indicating signal is produced by the level sensing circuit.

摘要： A drying apparatus and method utilizes radiant heat and forced air to provide for rapid drying of photosensitive material without emulsion side contact. The forced air is supplied through air passages formed between cover members that partially surround radiant heating bars, and is directed onto the photosensitive material where it impinges upon the photosensitive material. As the air passes through the air passages, it is heated by radiant heat from the heating bars. The heated air increases the drying effect of the drying apparatus and at the same time, impinges on the photosensitive material in a manner which assists in holding the photosensitive material firmly against, for example, drive rollers.

摘要： A drying apparatus and method utilizes the combination of radiant heat and air to quickly dry photosensitive material. The arrangement of the drying apparatus is such that radiant heat is first applied to photosensitive material at a radiant heat application section to substantially dry the photosensitive material without emulsion side contact and, thereafter, an air flow is directed onto both sides of the photosensitive material after it leaves the radiant heat application section. A plurality of air flow nozzles are used to direct the air onto the photosensitive material with the nozzles being oriented so as to direct air away from the radiant heat application section of the drying apparatus. This provides for an efficient and quick drying of photosensitive material in a compact unit.

摘要： The present invention relates to a coating apparatus having a removable coating module for applying a protective coating to at least one surface of a photosensitive material. The coating apparatus can be a stand-alone unit and can be added to an existing or new photographic processor. The coating product can be a solution having a predetermined viscosity which is applied to at least one surface of the photosensitive material prior to drying in a manner that allows the solution to be uniformly applied to the at least one surface at a specific layer thickness. The viscous solution after drying functions as a protective coating which can protect the processed photosensitive material against scratches and moisture. The removable coating module facilitates maintenance and cleaning after the viscous solution has been consumed. The apparatus includes a control mechanism which controls the thickness, uniformity and laydown amount of the applied viscous solution so as to insure that a uniform coating that provides protection to the entire surface of the photosensitive material is provided.

摘要： A photographic processing apparatus including recirculation of processing solution is provided with a variable loop additive control system comprising a treatment container in which additive solids, pastes or fluids are introduced and through which a controlled volume of processing solution is circulated from and back to the recirculating system loop. The secondary loop of the additive system allows control of the flow of processing solution through the treatment container so that the mixing of the additive into the processing solution may be controlled at a desired rate and the additive is not excessively utilized or dissipated. Various arrangements for connecting a secondary additive loop to the primary loop of a recirculating processing solution system are illustrated.

摘要： Textured surfaces on respective walls of racks and tanks of photographic processing apparatus reduce the frictional forces between the photosensitive material leading edge surfaces and the walls of the racks and tanks. The processing solution flows through fissures in the textured surfaces, thereby providing a solution bearing layer between the photosensitive material and the textured surfaces. This allows a greater photosensitive material leading edge impact angle with the textured walls which allows the photosensitive material to change direction unimpeded.
