摘要： An easy-to-construct modular wheelchair ramp with reliable dimensional stability in excess of all current regulatory requirements is provided. Such a modular device allows for a variety of ramp materials to be incorporated therein on demand as well as the utilization of any desired ramp pitch without any need to adjust (let alone actually use) connecting brackets and/or under-section supports. The double-channel stringer configuration thus allows for support legs to easily connect and move along such a component for facilitated set-up. Additionally, the double-channeled structure allows for any handrail materials to be properly and easily secured thereto. The stringer alone, as well as the overall modular ramp structure, are encompassed within this invention. The method of constructing such a wheelchair ramp is also envisioned within the invention.

摘要： A voltage testing system. The voltage testing system includes a pair of probes, each having a housing with a first end and a second end, wherein the pair of probes are electrically connected by a wire affixed to the first end of each of the pair of probes. A prong extends from the second end of the pair of probes, wherein a pin extends therethrough. The pin is electrically conductive, such that the pin is in communication with a fuse and a plurality of lights within the housing. The pin can be spring-biased such that a connection is formed between the fuse and the pin when the force is applied to the pin. The fuse can sever the electrical connection when a set current is transmitted through the fuse, such that a user is protected from excessive currents. The plurality of lights illuminate in response to receiving a preset voltage.

摘要： Techniques for facilitating and reducing the costs associated with the installation of a wireless broadband communications system. In one mode of operation, the system employs a first transceiver to identify n channels having the n lowest levels of noise and interference associated therewith by a spectrum management technique. Next, the first transceiver transmits a predetermined code over the n channels to a second transceiver, which attempts to identify the predetermined code within a captured transmission. In the event the code is correctly identified, the second transceiver measures a noise and/or interference level associated with the corresponding channels. The channel having the lowest measured noise and interference level is then selected for use in system installation.
