The sensor plug may be deployed into the sidewall of the wellbore by a downhole tool.

摘要： A formation testing tool and method for providing pressure controlled sampling is provided. A flow line delivers formation fluid to a sample chamber in the testing tool. A first valve controls the flow of formation fluid from the flow line to the sample chamber. A piston is slidably disposed in the sample chamber to define a sample cavity and a actuation cavity having variable volumes determined by movement of the piston. An actuator is also provided to move the piston in a first direction to increase the volume of the sample cavity and a second direction to decrease the volume of the sample cavity whereby formation fluid may be drawn into the sample cavity and pressurized therein using the actuator and the first valve.

摘要： A drip ring for use with a hydraulic cylinder is provided. The drip ring is prefabricated from a flexible material. To size the prefabricated drip ring, the drip ring is cut and wrapped around the hydraulic cylinder that is to be fitted. The amount of excess drip ring material is measured and removed. The properly sized drip ring is then placed around the cylinder such that the two cut edges are positioned within a bonding fixture that has been pre-filled with a bonding compound. The inner flange of the drip ring is secured against the hydraulic cylinder with an adjustable, metal restraining strap. If desired, a drain fixture coupled to a drain pipe is attached to the fitted drip ring.

摘要： Methods and devices for mixing a first fluid with a second fluid downhole include a chamber having a first end, a second end and an opening for fluid to flow there through. A top surface of a perforated piston is capable of contacting the second end and a top surface of a piston is capable of contacting a bottom surface of the perforated piston. The perforated piston is located at a first position within the chamber based upon characteristics of a first fluid. A first fluid delivery system supplies the first fluid and a second fluid delivery system supplies a second fluid to the chamber, wherein the second fluid is at a pressure that moves the piston approximate to the first end. An actuating device applies a force against the bottom surface of the piston to inject the fluids through channels of the perforated piston to produce spray droplets.

Each support is an integrally formed member with an elongate support portion and a U-shaped hook-portion which fits freely and removably about an upper horizontal portion of the wall. The elongate support portion has a number of vertically spaced-apart openings which access a longitudinal channel formed in the surface of the elongate support portion which rests against the wall. A number of receptacles are provided to receive soil. Each receptacle has a pair of horizontally spaced-apart hooks which can be releasably secured in any one of the openings formed in the supports. The spacing between the supports is fixed solely by securing receptacle between the supports. No fasteners are required to secure the system to the wall, and the system can be readily assembled and disassembled without tools.
