    • A concrete form has an embossed panel for molding a facade of brickwork in a particular pattern on a concrete wall or the like. Specially constructed support beams, struts and flanges are secured to the panel on the back of the panel to prevent undesired deformation of the borders. Each flange has a panel engaging surface and a plurality of projections on the surface adapted to be received within depressions in the borders presented by the brickwork pattern. The panel is embossed to resemble a brickwork pattern, and the marginal borders vertically traverse the pattern through vertically aligned joints in alternate courses, the flanges having similarly arranged projections to be received within the spaced depressions presented by the aligned, vertically spaced joints.

    • A sliding pin is selectively mounted to the back of a poured concrete wall form panel for use in combination with a standard wedge for coupling adjacent panels of the concrete wall form together. The pin when attached to the panel conveniently slides relative to the panel to and between engaged, stowed and retracted positions. Furthermore, the pin is captured within a carrier and is rotatable for convenient access to the slot in the shank of the pin. The components of the system are durable to withstand impact blows by a hammer or other tool, do not require specialized hardware for their use and will not be fouled by splashed concrete or other debris.

    • A waler system includes a number of clamps each of which has a lower leg including a tab with a hole therein which is secured to the wall form of a poured concrete wall system by a standard pin connection. An upper leg of the clamp translates between a loading/unloading position so that a waler beam can be installed easily and conveniently on the clamp attached to the wall form. Each of the clamps is then simply translated into the clamping position by forcing the upper leg downwardly and inwardly toward the beam and the wall form. After the concrete has been poured and the wall cured, the waler system can be disassembled by simply translating the upper leg of each clamp upwardly and outwardly to disengage the waler beam. The transformation is assisted by a spring captured within the upper leg of each clamp.

    • A wall form panel for use in constructing a poured concrete wall form is preferably extruded from aluminum and a plurality of sections which are joined together form the wall form panel. The outer side most sections of the wall form panel advantageously include integrally formed and extruded side flanges to provide enhanced load-bearing capability and reduce the likelihood of failure. The extruded panel sections are coupled together along longitudinally extending joint members and reinforced beams and struts are welded to the back face of the wall panel sections for added strength and rigidity. Advantageously, the wall form panel sections can be formed in a plurality of widths and joined together in various combinations to conveniently provide a variety of widths of wall form panels. The side flanges of the wall form panels includes holes for attaching pins and other associated hardware. Advantageously, a reinforced bushing is seated within the flange to provide increased strength and avoid material failure in this location.

    • In the poured concrete wall industry, adjacent form panels are commonly coupled together by a slotted pin and wedge combination. Advantageously, the slotted pin and wedge combination includes a sloped wedge so that the narrow end of the wedge is spaced from the wall panels for easy access and disassembly of the pin and wedge when separating the adjacent wall panels after the poured concrete wall has cured. The sloped wedge is formed by a curved inner surface and a curved outer surface extending towards the narrow end of the wedge. With the curved inner and outer surfaces meeting at a rounded blunt end to allow a hammer to strike the wedge free of the slotted pin upon disassembly of the form panels.

    • A wall form system for use in constructing a poured concrete wall includes a plurality of panels aligned in an edge-to-edge configuration to form spaced wall forms. The wall forms are maintained in a spaced relationship by a tie which includes a pair of cutouts which mate with notches in the side edges of each of the panels at the juncture between adjacent panels. A retainer is provided to secure each end of the tie to the outer face of the adjacent panels. After the concrete wall is poured and hardened, the wall forms are easily disassembled by breaking a first frangible section from the tie and removing the wall form panels and then breaking a second frangible section from the tie which is projecting from the concrete wall. The ties and retainers are disposable and easily assembled with the wall forms thereby alleviating the need for collection and retrieval when the wall forms are disassembled. Further, the wall panels consist of multi-layer composite construction which provides sufficient strength and durability to the wall form system with a lightweight and easily handled and maneuvered panel that can be reused for subsequent poured concrete wall applications.
