摘要： The instant invention is a method and apparatus for stacking discarded tires for use in the formation of non-degradable structures and supports. The method consists of placing discarded vehicle tires on banding posts that are capable of maintaining numerous cut tires in-line. The tire stacks form part of a triangular bundle which allows for the formation of hexagon shaped bundles of a vertical disposition providing predictable compressibility and longevity for use in artificial reefs, structure support for buildings and pavement. In addition, placement of the triangular tire stacks in a horizontal position allows for formation of wave reducing reefs or levy construction.

摘要： A radio controlled vehicle having a device attached to the front of the vehicle for scooping and retaining a playing ball in a retaining area. The ball is scooped and captured by driving the vehicle towards the ball with sufficient velocity to guide it between channeling rails and through a flexible retaining barrier which prevents further escape of the ball during vehicle maneuvering. The vehicle also includes a ball propelling device which is capable of forcefully dislodging the ball from its retaining area and imparting a velocity to the ball away from the vehicle. This system can be used to play a game whereby the bounds of a playing area and goals are defined, and players maneuver their vehicles within this area. Players capture the free ranging ball, maneuver it towards a goal, aim and shoot the ball in an attempt to score. Errant in-bound shots would then be re-captured, re-maneuvered, and re-shot during the course of play.

The filtration device is situated within the well of a conventional water cooler and employs an elongated tube with a centrally disposed piercing tip. The tip provides for the puncturing of the water bottle cap when the water bottle is placed thereon. Water flowing through the tube passes through a sub-micron filter capable of removing bacteria. Optionally activated carbon may be placed within the support structure providing removal of chlorine and known carcinogenic formed by chlorine combined by-products.

摘要： The instant invention is a tire cutting apparatus which operates in conjunction with a conventional band saw providing a used tire treatment mechanism that is affordable to purchase and maintain. A tire support assembly having flexible bands to expand to the inner perimeter of a tire casing is used with tire rotational speed controlled by a motor which frictionally engages an outer perimeter of the tire. The tire casing is further stabilized during the cutting operation by a wheel platform which supports a conventional band saw. The tire casing is rotated during or by band saw operation cutting the tire casing in two equal halves with smooth edges. The apparatus further includes an enclosure providing a catch basin for material cut from the tire and a cover allowing the apparatus to be stored or used as a work table. Wheels allow the enclosure to be easily moved and stood upright in a corner should space be a problem.

The invention utilizes a base member which is attached to a support post of the transmission selector lever. The base member includes provisions for holding loose coins and miscellaneous items. When the vehicle is left unattended, the locking mechanism utilizes a spherical cap which locks to the base member. With automatic transmissions the handle is locked together so as to conceal the handle and prevent access to the actuator button. When used in combination with a manual transmission, the cap engages the base of the transmission housing to prevent depression or movement of the selector handle. In this manner, the vehicle cannot be moved as the transmission is disabled. The spherical shaped cap inhibits cutting, tensile steel bands used on matching caps prevent the mechanism from being pried apart when locked.

摘要： The instant invention is a multi-purpose wheelchair accessory that is secured to a side surface of a conventional wheelchair. The accessory includes a provision for holding personal items in a concealed compartment beneath an extension of an armrest. In addition, a cane is positioned along one end of the accessory allowing the wheelchair operator additional support if needed upon leaving the confines of the wheelchair. A tray table is stored along one side surface of the accessory and includes a hinge allowing the table to be rotated from a storage position into a horizontal plane directly in front of the armrest allowing the person a platform for working and eating. The accessory further extends outward wherein the cane operates as a leg providing an extended handrail in front of the wheelchair allowing the person who leaves the wheelchair a range of support that is not possible from the conventional armrest position. In addition, the apparatus detaches from the wheelchair and includes a curved section which allows the accessory to operate as a ramp. The ramp provides a first level of height which can be doubled by rotating of the cover into a support position.
