The anchor connection fitting of the stanchion may be frictionally coupled to the stanchion connection fitting to hold the stanchion in an upright orientation to receive a ball on the upper end thereof. The ground penetrating corkscrew anchor prevents displacement of the tee ball stand in the event the stanchion is struck by an errant bat swing.

摘要： A variable inertia bat weight training aid having a sleeve with radially divided, elongate pockets in which are permanently captured a plurality of weights. One end of the sleeve has a diameter sufficient to receive the barrel of a baseball bat but the other end of the sleeve includes a restricting band having a diameter sufficient to receive the handle of the bat but insufficient to pass over the barrel of the bat. Each weight within an associate pocket may be adjustably positioned along the length of the sleeve and secured in place by a restraining strap in order to vary the inertial resistance of the baseball bat and the perceived weight a batter experiences for warm-up and strength training exercises.

Opposed side walls are hingedly connected to a front frame, and opposed end walls are hingedly connected to a rear wall panel, both to fold inwardly in interlocking fashion such that the side walls overlie the rear panel and the end walls overlie the side walls within the region bounded by the front frame. The storage container may optionally include a door or lid for closure which may be fitted with a lock if desirable. The side walls include means for supporting a removable interior panel to prevent the side walls from folding inwardly which, in turn, prevent the end walls from folding inwardly.
