    • A noise attenuation device for reducing resonance in a natural vacuum leak detector. The device includes a housing, a first connector connected to the housing, and a first fitting connected to the first connector. Also included is a second connector which is connected to the housing on an opposite end of the housing in relation to the first connector, and a second fitting connected to the second connector. A plurality of tubes is disposed within the housing between the first connector and the second connector such that air flows through the first fitting, the first connector, the plurality of tubes, through the second connector and the second fitting. A plurality of flow paths is created by the plurality of tubes, and the plurality of flow paths reduces the turbulence and the pulsation of air flow through the housing, reducing or eliminating resonance in the natural vacuum leak detector.

    • A vapor purge system having a tank isolation valve and a canister vent valve, where each valve includes a latching mechanism for maintaining the valves in an open position, and a diagnostic test is performed on the purge system to prove that each of the valves are functioning correctly. Using latching valves in these applications reduces electricity draw from the battery and reduces electrical interference with integrated pressure sensors. The fuel tank is sealed by the tank isolation valve between the fuel tank and a vapor storage canister, and the canister vent valve provides sealing between the canister and the atmosphere, and controls venting of the canister. The diagnostic test is performed using the tank isolation valve and the canister vent valve under different operating conditions.

    • A turbo purge module includes a purge valve connected between a vapor collection canister and an intake manifold. A venturi nozzle receives pressurized air from the turbocharger, when the turbocharger is operating, to create a vacuum to draw vapors from the canister through the purge valve to an inlet of the turbocharger and the intake manifold to be purged in the engine. A first check valve prevents pressure from the intake manifold from reaching the canister when the turbocharger is operating. A second check valve prevents vacuum pressure from the intake manifold from communicating with the venturi nozzle when the turbocharger is at idle, with vapor from the canister being drawn through the purge valve and the intake manifold to be purged in the engine. The purge valve, venturi nozzle, first check valve, and second check valve are integrated into a single component.
